I’ve been on a giant Talking Heads kick lately and it shows.
This song is especially something I can’t get enough of…..

I’ve had this in my head today. Good song, catchy harmonies, I like the lyrics, and Pagey moves at 1:40-1:43 in the video — what more could you want

The only song that can get Getting Closer from repeating in my brain is Average Person. And vice-versa. This has been going on for a week now.And what song was playing on Sirius/XM when I got in my car this morning…Getting Closer. Give in, AG, give in to the power of Paul. OK…here goes…
The video is unavailable so you get my share.
I feel for you @Ahhh Girl. ‘Average Person’ is awful, lazy Paul at his laziest half-heartedly phoning in dire underworked lyrics (I actually forgot it existed until mentioned here) so must be hard having to listen to it to get ‘Getting Closer’ out of your head.
So much of the ‘Pipes Of Peace ‘ album is unlistenable crap.

Came up on my playlist, now on it’s fifth repeat…
Bluegrass goes gangster rap as The Gourds cover Snoop Dogg. It is total genius and one of my favourite ever covers. I challenge you to get through it without a huge grin on your face!!!

Lovely song all around. Nothing else needs to be said.
I performed that song at our choir’s winter concert a couple months ago. Totally forgot about until I saw your post.
Anywho, I’m on a kick of:
It all started because I was on a kick of
and thought: “Hey, if I like this song so much, maybe I should actually listen to them?”

Ugh I love Dylan! As for U2, I’m not the biggest fan. “Sunday Bloody Sunday” is the only U2 song I really like. I could never get into their other stuff for whatever reason
I’m currently hooked on this:

"....This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no fooling around...."

U2 is really overdramatic and shimmery and springlike, and I’m liking the vibe so far, but I have only heard about a dozen songs so…
Sunday Bloody Sunday isn’t exactly typical of their sound, I guess, but I really like it too.

I was just listening to some assorted George stuff, including his rendition of If Not For You . When the original came up, I decided to give it a go:
I’m hooked, I love it.

It’s ok, but I honestly prefer George’s version. He took the song to crazy beautiful heights!
I will say though of what I’ve heard, Winterlude and the title track are my favourite songs from New Morning.
