Of course! I’ll admit I haven’t heard that song in a while…
While I’m here, I guess I’ll say I really love Home Tonight. My favourite of the two new songs, although the intro to In A Hurry I like because it sounds like something off The Beach Boys ‘ Wild Honey album!

That is another great one. I especially love the part where Bowie almost raps beginning in the second verse..

That part is so fun
I occasionally annoy my family members by singing weirdass Bowie songs with gusto and ‘Blackout’ is a premiere Candidate (Sweet Thing) for such treatment.
Currently not on a specific song kick per se, but my family has been watching TRON and TRON: Legacy, and I’ve been grooving to their soundtracks (by Wendy Carlos and Daft Punk, respectively; Daft Punk’s is particularly epic and I’ve listened to it repeatedly since last night).

Those “Heroes” tracks are great – I think noisy prog-funk David is my second-favourite Bowie, next to genderbending space rocker…

Prog-funk and cocaine-addled fascist Bowie are my favourites. Dark times for him, I know, but I’ll be damned if that wasn’t some great music.
Anyway, I’ve been on a kick of this song for two days now:
I love In Rainbows almost as much as I love my family, or the Beatles…

@CakeMaestor Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) is quite like the first side of “Heroes” except even noisier. I consider it his last great arty album of the 70s, even though it was released in 1980. As for hot takes, I dunno… depends on the kind/controversy level but I think the derail thread tends to be a catch-all for random takes.
As for me, not specific song kick per se but the whole Fistful Of Mercy album As I Call You Down is really rolling my wheels right now. Thanks @AppleScruffJunior

Hot take: I think “Heroes” is better than “Low”. Almost every album ranking, threads and posts says otherwise. I just think that “Heroes” is a much better realization on the whole foundation of the Berlin Trilogy, and overall is just more consistent. I also think that there are better tracks, ie: “Beauty and the Beast”, “Joe the Lion”, “V2 Schneider”, etc.

I’ve found a specific song kick: the closing track, ‘With Whom You Belong’. Beautiful.

I haven’t been able to get enough of Because lately. It’s such a tasteful slice of mystical cosmic perfection. I think it’s my new favorite Beatles song.

That Means A Lot has been stuck in my head for the past two days and I’ve been listening to it nonstop. I keep thinking about what it would have sounded like if they would’ve cleaned it up, improved it, and released it. I’m really stuck on Paul’s growls in it.

Wow. That’s a serious honor.
I’m currently on a huge kick of End Of The Line, which is definitely my favorite Wilburys song. I KNOW IT’S MAINSTREAM* BUT IT’S SO GOOD

Whilst I do think “Heroes” is better than “Low”, I would say “Low” has the best song in the Berlin Trilogy.
Side note: “Because ” is absolutely beautiful. Most people would think of “Come Together ” when John is brought up alongside “Abbey Road “, but I often found “Because ” to be just as good, if not even better. Though I don’t think it’s as good as “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)”, but that’s my personal opinion. Feel free to disagree.

One of the very best. The guitar playing is so brilliant, I love how it goes from loose and graceful to the almost military marching sound of the riff (don’t know if that makes any sense, but it’s what I think of when I hear it )

Beatlebug, Beatlebug, WeepingAtlasCedarsI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

That’s an excellent way to put it. Really, those 600 guitar parts in the song basically just sum up life, death, the passing of time, nostalgia, moving on, and everything else also too.
