I’ve loved this song for a while, but getting the album and learning it/getting it thoroughly stuck in my head yesterday has put me on a decided ‘What Is And What Should Never Be’ kick…‘What Is And What Should Never Be’ – Led Zeppelin
Is it a seasonal thing? A couple days ago I discovered some live/liveish versions of it and now I’m ObSsEsSeD all over again…

This morning, my mother asked me for eggs fried with ‘tiny butter’ (mothership texting shorthand for a small amount of butter) and so I went and got ‘Tiny Dancer’ by Elton John stuck in my head.

Graceland by Paul Simon.
I had a really annoying song stuck in my head and decided to see if I could erase it by humming a song I like.
The plan worked – I can’t even remember which annoying song was in my head.
But now Graceland is stuck in there

I love how damn much Bowie there is, it will take me ages to run out of songs to be on a kick of (and now my heart shatters at the thought that his discography is, admittedly, finite)

Soft Parade – awesome album
Before I started exploring the Doors, Touch Me was my favorite of thief songs. The rest of the album followed that. It might be their best.

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Lol, this isn’t the ‘turn it up or down’ thread. I like her vocals though, they fit the ragged nature of the music and definitely grew on me.
