If You Believe randomly popped into my head this morning and I’ve listened to it many times since then. Such a fun, catchy tune, with some great vocals, andthe same minor 4 chord that they all loved so much.
I fully support Harrisong-kicks of any kind.
Sidenote, I looked up minor 4 chord to jog my memory (because I’m much better at knowing how to play things than I am at why and what to play things) and two of the top results were Beatley:
I’ve been digging ‘In The Evening’ and ‘I’m Gonna Crawl’ from In Through The Out Door.
Major-4 to minor-4 was a trick that Bowie liked to abuse as well, he does it in ‘Space Oddity’, ‘Starman’, ‘Zeroes’, perhaps others, and hints at it in ‘Days’. George Harrison also used it in ‘Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)’ and when I was playing that for someone they thought it was a Beatles song due to that chord.

Not sure if there are any Jazz fans besides myself, but currently I’m rather hooked-up on “The Shoes of the Fisherman’s Wife Are Some Jive Ass Slippers”, composed by Charles Mingus himself and released on the 1972 album “Let My Children Hear Music”.
Any Jazz fans out there?

So, over 12,000 jazz tracks from Bix Beiderbecke in the 20s to Esperanza Spalding last year, I must be a real good phoney!

I was on hold with the DMV yesterday and listened to two straight hours of jazzy hold music interspersed with a monotonous female voice reciting instructions on applying for different types of licences, does that count?

He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.
