It’s been awhile since i’ve posted. But i’ve been on a huge Buddy Holly and Pantera kick. For Buddy Holly it’s “Oh Boy!”
For Pantera It’s “F*****g Hostile”
What a weird mix Buddy and Pantera. I’ve been on a Buddy kick lately. Buddy and, of course, Beatles in my case.

Yeah, I’ve been obsessed with Buddy’s work for the past couple of months. As for Pantera that’s been fairly more recent.

New Killer Star. I love the guitar, it reminds me of the guitar at the beginning of Think For Yourself .

Discovered this one looking for a spectral isolation software (!), of all places:
Heard it on the radio a month ago or so, hasn’t go out of my head:
A very good Rock song, from an awesome 90’s band (which is still around today):

Me too! It’s kind of like Changes’ underrated younger sibling. The lyrics are really cool too. I especially like this part:
Look out my window and what do I see
A crack in the sky and a hand reaching down to me
All the nightmares came today
And it looks as though they’re here to stay

I sorta prefer it to Changes at the moment. Changes is kind of an earworm.
Also, I agree that part is really cool, but my favorite part (musically, at least) is the chorus.

The chorus is really catchy, and I like that it kind of has a different pace to the verses. David’s vocal also just has this really nice bouncy quality to it on that track.

Yeah, it’s a great vocal.
Oh, and every time he says “Homo superior” I hear it as “Mother superior” and then my brain goes “jumped the gun.”

I didn’t read up in the thread, so I thought you guys were talking about Happiness Is A Warm Gun and indignantly checked the lyrics to make sure it was ‘mother superior’ not ‘homo superior’

It is, but have you ever played the bass to it? No, you haven’t, so you cannot begin to grasp how satisfying it was for me, anyway, to play the bassline and sing it (difficult) with my bandmates last summer. (also it’s mostly the chorus that’s irritatingly catchy, the verse melody is quite wandery and nice.)
That having been said, whilst Changes is an icon and for good reason, Oh! You Pretty Things is… well… also an icon, and terribly fun to belt out. David’s vocal and everything just sound so bouncy

After being inspired to play it after her post, I can confirm @Beatlebug ‘s statement that Changes is in fact extremely fun to play on the bass.Haven’t tried singing with it yet though.
I fell asleep listening to my Beatles marathon playlist, and made it all the way through to the White Album before I woke up. Guess that means I’m on a kick of every Beatles song ever.
