The other day I thought I’d dial up ABBA’s “Fernando”. I was never a fan of ABBA and have missed the whole hoopla about them, but I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It’s a catchy tune, but then I found out that one of the two female singers, Frida (the better singer in my estimation), put out a solo album earlier with the same song, but sung in the original Swedish. Even though I don’t know Swedish, it has a nicer ring to it:
