I am currently on a kick of this obscure jangle pop song I found on backwater YouTube. I’ve tried to find out more about the band but had no luck, all I found was a blogspot post.

The following people thank QuarryMan for this post:

Beatlebug, SgtPeppersBulldog

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Neil Innes  – All In The Name Of Love (1979?)

It’s taken from an episode of his series, Innes Book Of Records. Probably my favourite non – Rutles song by him too!

Grateful Dead – El Paso

@meanmistermustard my parents saw Emmylou the other night. I would have gone based off your recommendation had they had another ticket.

Shame you couldn’t @sir walter raleigh. I’m hoping she comes to the UK one day as I really want to see her live.

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

Thanks, @Martha! paul-mccartney-thumb_gif I’ve actually been wondering what the title of that tune was for some time, because I first heard it on some advert for a programme on BBC1 during Christmas 2015 (I think) and liked it a lot.

I’ve never heard Bad To Me with drums. I wonder which version that is or if the drums are authentic.

Whoops, I’ve never taken the thought of the drums being fake into consideration, I just thought that was another version.paul-mccartney-facepalm_gif To be honest, I really don’t know and I couldn’t find any document confirming the existence of another version than the demo, so they’re probably fake. Sorry, I should’ve double checked that before!

I agree, it’s a good song but it’s funny you say that because my brother gets super pissed off when he hears it because he hates that song for some reason.
