George Harrison – I Really Love You (1982)
Yet another criminally underrated cover of his.

I was looking forward to Goldfrapp’s new release Silver Eye and have listened to it over the last couple of days, their last album (2014) Tales of Us was so atmospheric and beautiful. I loved their earlier albums but Silver Eye feels like a regression, but three songs stand out for me; Anymore,Tigerman and Faux Suade Drifter – maybe that’s enough.

It’s two today.
The Loop – Rory Gallagher (1990)
A Question of Temperature – The Balloon Farm (1967)
It’s funny how two song entries always are two songs that are way stylistically different.

May I please have 5:06 of your time? Kick off your high heel sneakers, it’s party time.
I’ll have to give that 5:06 of my time. My best friend is a rather huge fan of Steely Dan.

@Beatlebug , the two-disc compilation Show Biz Kids is excellent. Many of their songs feature extended instrumental breaks that showcase all of the musicians, not just blaring guitar solos. I think of their style as a somewhat smooth jazz with a hard New York City edge. Very cool.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.
