Its good to never be too predicable – something ELO could have taken on board.
Which means there is a lot of ELO you haven’t heard – which is fine – but they have quite the range of material, surprisingly so at times.

I’m sure mushrooms come in all types of variations and textures but there is no chance i’m going to keep suffering the taste until I find one that is in some way edible.

ELO (with Jeff Lynne) have just announced they’re recording a new album. More mushrooms for you to dislike, @meanmistermustard!

Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

Every time I pick up my guitar lately, I find myself playing Here Comes The Sun . Part of it is that I’m still working on it and I want to practise it as much as possible. Another part of it is that the weather is driving me bonkers (and I’ve just sort of discovered why it’s such a good song)– either way, I really get it.
It’s all right!

I am on a bit of a ‘This Is Love’ kick right now… when I first heard it I found it too 80s-ish for my liking, but now I’ve got used to it and I appreciate what a good song it is. I especially like the twinklys of the guitar solo– Jeff Lynne magic at work again I suppose. And, of course, all that gleaming Harrisonic slide guitar!!!!

Listened to Thirty-Three & 1/3 today and I’m really liking Beautiful Girl right now. I especially like the lines ‘Not the kind that is lost or is found,/ She has always been there…’
I bet this love it don’t come as no surprise

A couple days ago, I heard this song in a YouTube video (after not listening to the Doors for awhile) and it’s been stuck in my head for, like, two days straight. It’s driving me crazy.
I'm Necko. I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.
I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

…And now I’m on a What Is Life kick.
This isn’t my first time; I was crazy about it when I first discovered it on George’s birthday, shortly after I’d joined, and then I rediscovered it on headphones and… this is love
It’s just so rich when you can hear all of it; the wall of noise becomes a wall of harmonious sound.

I can’t get enough of ‘Never Get Over You’ off of Brainwashed. Well, really, I’m kind of obsessed with the whole album right now, but particularly that song. The guitar work sounds a bit Abbey Roadish, somehow–reminiscent of Something (pun partially intended) and others.
It’s about/for Olivia, and nothing anyone says to the contrary will persuade me to believe otherwise.
‘And although love was new, I’ll never get over you.’ Nicely suggestive use of past tense, there, George.

I’m currently obsessed with Hotel California by The Eagles. They are one of my favorite bands, and Don Henley is just awesome on that song. I almost want it to be longer so I can just keep listening to it, as if 6 minutes and 30 seconds wasn’t enough…
