Lately I’ve been liking She’s Leaving Home and Hari’s on Tour, which is on Dark Horse . I heard a version from New Orleans and I’ve primarily enjoyed that.

I’ve been listening to ‘For No One ‘ a lot lately. I’d put my iPod on shuffle and 6 times out of ten it’s been the first song to come on

Wing’s “Daytime Nighttime Suffering.” That may be one of the best Paul’s ever written…love the tune, the words, the bassline…perfection.

I hope so too. Had my first one today (I only have 3 sinced I passed for all the other subjects last year) and it went pretty well. I’ve checked the answers and most of them were correct. The questions I couldn’t answer correctly were questions where I had to give the meaning of some kind of political understanding, but that word wasn’t even in my book so I complained about it on the website (there’s a website where one can complain about the exams, and if there are enough complaints about the same thing, they will do something about it, like count it as a correct answer anyway. So far there are a lot of complaints for this subject on my level)

Listening to Beatles ’65 from The Capitol Albums Volume 1, for some reason, “I’ll Be Back ” caught my attention, and now I can’t seem to stop listening to it. I knew it from A Hard Day’s Night , but never really paid attention to it until now. The song is a cool foreshadowing of their growth and maturity from mop-top beat rockers to serious and more sophisticated musicians. Definitely a underrated gem.

I was listening to George’s Brainwashed album during my drive to work this morning – can’t get ‘Run So Far’ out of my cranium.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.
