I’m fairly sure there isn’t a thread for this, and if there is surely someone will point it out to me. I imagine some of you sing, enjoy singing, and like the sound of your voice. And then there’s the majority of people who hate the sound of their voice and aren’t at all confident about singing. (your not the only one, MrMoonlight)
Anyone have any suggestions/useful tips about singing?

Be honest: what can I do to improve my voice? I find it shrill, and weak, and shaky – it’s not the pitch that’s the problem (hell, if I ended up sounding like John or Sean I’d be happy), but it’s just that it’s so, so powerless and not confident and argh I hate it. Hate it hate it hate it!

I always try to generate the right emotion for the thing (Though this is mainly for acting) like when I need to act happy I think about thiings that make me happy and apply it or when I need to act sad I do the same thing except for sad.
My main singing problem is I have trouble with the melody
