For mine, this is one of the few advantages of CD packaging over LPs and digipaks – you have the option to change the cover if the booklet that comes with the CD has an image you prefer (or you can even customise your own).
I’m curious if anyone else does this?
So far I have reversed the “Choba B” booklet so that Paul’s name is in Russian rather than English (seems more appropriate); and also the Ringo 2012 cover since the default cover is rather bland imho – check my post in the Ringo forums to see what you think of the cover options.
My daughters are also awesome graphic artists so I have them design CD covers for any bootlegs etc. I may have.

I did this for years, though not consistently and probably not mostly.
Not only reversing, but sometimes I found an image inside the booklet which I preferred, so I used that.
Also, with a couple of CDs (e.g., the “Big Noise” mambo compilation, and Leon Redbone’s “Sugar”) I liked the look of the actual disc so much because they had superimposed an image using colors onto the metal (or metallic plastic), that I just took away the booklet altogether, so you could see the disc through the clear plastic case.
Faded flowers, wait in a jar, till the evening is complete... complete... complete... complete...

I turned the “Memory Almost Full ” fold out thing around. I don’t want to look at an empty chair with words across it when I can be looking at Paul with an empty chair. Some people might fold it so that the picture of Paul slouching in the chair shows, but I dont like his sassy, smug look in that picture.

I used to do that all the time! I’ll see what the NEW booklet is like.. I haven’t bought an actual CD in a really long time. The last time I did it was “The Lumineers” but it was a cardboard case. When I buy albums they are usually vinyls of albums I already own “digitally” on my ITunes, because I’m a hipster like that.
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

Ooh – I forgot about that one – I`ll have to take a closer look at it.
The only album I remember with something similar was that Led Zeppelin one with all the windows, oh, and of course George’s ‘Extra Texture ‘. Wait they all say – what about ‘Walls And Bridges ‘? Okay, there were lots weren’t there? 🙂

I just pulled out the Memory Almost Full fold out thing and noticed something I hadn’t before.
On the credits page the black ink/type inside the pink ink/type makes the shape of the chair.
Ah, the things I see when I slow down.

And I just did it again. I have a bunch of the ‘Paul McCartney Collection’ CDs now and I have removed the outer covering from them so that the CDs have the full size cover they had originally rather than the ‘Collection’ one with all the blurb.
So instead of something like:
You get something like:
which looks much more effective.
