That sounds horrible @WeepingAtlasCedars.
A teacher I had last year died of cancer a few months ago, and even though I wasn’t close to him, and he wasn’t my favorite teacher, it still affected me (and the whole school really).
I hope that you get through this, and keep your memories of him in your heart as he sounds like a wonderful person.

I hate this to be one of my first posts back, but I feel it necessary since it happened. Wednesday, July 31st our family dog, Willow, passed away due to kidney failure. It was only 3 days before I arrived home, and only 1 day before the 7 year anniversary of adopting her. She was only around 8 years old when she passed.
The Paul McCartney song below is one that we discovered not long after we adopted Willow. I’ve always considered it her anthem.
