Oh no, these are really horrible news, Silly Girl, I will include the family in my prayers. Hopefully, they will find support from family and friends.
I’ve Also just learnt of the death of AC/DC guitarist Malcolm Young at the age of 64. It’s so sad, especially considering George Young has died only a month ago.
Rip Malcolm, hope there’s no traffic jam on the highway to heaven

RIP everyone (and a bit of extra thought to Angus Young, losing two brothers in as many months)
So many awesome people leaving our world everyday…never our memories, though

Sad to read that @Beatlebug. A close friend of mine’s father died over the summer and it fell on all of us pretty hard.

Thanks, everyone. I didn’t really know him personally — I only met him once, when he quietly suffered through one of our band’s jam sessions — but from all I’ve heard about him, he will be missed.

This isn’t your typical Rest in Peace, moreso a Rot in Hell.
One of the true monsters of the 20th Century, and one of the very few s**t stains soiling the history of The Beatles (even though it had nothing to do with them), Charles Manson is dead. Finally. At the age of 83.
No sympathy here, just a recording of the event.

So, the deranged maniac who tried to ruin the legacy of both The Beatles and The Beach Boys by twisting it to benefit his “family” of murderers is finally dead. Thank feck, and as Holey quite rightly said, rest in peace to his victims, but not the b*****d himself.

R.I.P Malcolm Young. I listened to a lot of AC/DC when I was younger and they were an important part of my upbringing so I was sad about Malcolm’s passing but I know he has been ill for the past couple of years and it was inevitable but it is still very sad and my heart goes out to Angus who has lost two brothers in as many months.
As for Charles Manson, I am by no means a fan but I do find him and the Manson family interesting. He has his part in the history books for all of the wrong reasons.

One of the great 70s pop stars, David Cassidy, has died at the age of 67.
Not unexpected, there have been reports of the seriousness of his condition over the past few days.
He was a part of my childhood. I grew up watching The Partridge Family. My older sister had a poster of him on her bedroom wall.
Though not really my cup of tea as I grew older, many fond memories.
This seems appropriate (I love how he gets so many dates wrong during his introduction to the song):
RIP David Bruce Cassidy.

This one was a few weeks ago and it doesn’t look like it was mentioned but R.I.P Chuck Mosely. He was the original singer of Faith No More before being replaced by Mike Patton. I prefer Patton era Faith No More but Chuck was an important part of the history of the band.

Yeah, I haven’t played it in years, but I definitely enjoyed parts of that 2nd FNM album once upon a time and always was amused by Chuck’s “f**k you, I’ll SKATE to the beach!” bus-driver dismissal.
RIP

Christine Keeler, one of the symbols of ’60s Britain, passed away in the hospital I use at around 23:30GMT on the 5th (it’s now, just about, the 6th) at the age of 75.
Centre of the Profomo Scandal, and forever defined by it, it is interesting to consider how that case might be viewed now. Powerful older men abusing vulnerable teenage girls and young women for their own sexual gratification. How far the world has come. You don’t hear stories like that anymore.
She will be remembered as the 19-year-old caught in Lewis Morley’s often mimicked photographic portrait:
RIP.
