I have to admit I’m genuinely impressed by this song, and I’m glad I was so bored that I happened to click on YouTube’s Trending page
Goes like every generic Bond song nowadays (quiet, boring and moany only to build up to an all-out orchestral moment).

I’ve not been following Bond themes so it sounded interesting to me. I like the atmosphere of it. You do tend to have impossibly high standards

I really dig it too and have to admit I’m currently obsessed with Billie’s voice.

I know surgeons often like to listen to music while they operate but not often they have the patient performing live for them…

I imagine playing one’s instrument would be a good way would be a good way to take one’s mind off of the whole AHHH I’M HAVING SURGERY thing.
Anyway, I was looking at the side channel of a science (entirely un-music) channel and I saw this (skip to 4:30 to get to the point):

This is something really cool but really weird that I came across on Facebook.
This is a mile-long wooden xylophone that plays Bach’s Cantata 147 when a ball is rolled down it. This video was created by a Japanese ad agency.

Yeah that’s weird, but then the phone is horrible.

He looks seriously distraught in the thumbnail. The McRib must be pretty damn good if it can cause that kind of desperation.

BeatlebugI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I’ve never had a McRib, but it’s an inside joke on this one radio show that I listen to on Beats 1:
"....When I cannot sing my heart, I can only speak my mind...."
"....This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no fooling around...."

Okay, I thought David Bowie was the smartest musician I’d ever heard but Zappa is giving him some competition he seems like a cool dude. “Rampant costumery all over the place” hahaha

I mean, it kind of is.
Performance is, like anything you create in your life, a microcosm of life itself. You’re basically creating a life, a story, when you improvise a guitar solo, as you yourself are in a constant state of self-creation. This is why human beings all have a touch of the divine, because we all carry within us the potential for creation.
Errr I should stop P philosophical rants WT after listening to George Harrison all day
