I believe they said “Press To Play ” at the end, and that’s the kind of thing that sets off bells in my brain.

That guy looks like Daniel Radcliffe
After watching it I’m not too surprised that Paul’s accent is pretty soft. He’s really good at imitating different accents. As can be seen in this video and others:
I get the feeling based on what I’ve seen in other people and also my own experience, that people who are good at imitating other accents don’t have a super strong natural accent and/or they tend to incorporate bits from many different accents. Whichever way it ends up with not pointing to a strong single accent. Could be wrong on this, but that’s what I’ve gathered in my life.

Based on my own experience and others, I have to wonder having a musical ear might lend itself to fluidity of accent/an ear for accents as well.
It’s also important to note that Paul’s mum would also encourage Paul and Mike to speak ‘the Queen’s English’ when they were kids.

Grrrrrr… he says Paul *had* an American wife. While that is true, he *has* one now too!!!!
Yeah, a lot of the comments pointed that one out.

That definitely applies to me as well. I’ve sung a lot in choir and I’ve had to sing different languages and even learned some basic IPA from that, so the nuances of pronunciation and how to physically construct a sound come up quite a bit.
I think also with music there’s a certain amount of pitch replication that comes into it. I’m very good at remembering the pitches that someone speaks at. Because of audiation, I focus on replicating the pitch from muscle memory rather than worrying about the distortion of hearing my own voice differently.
Not everyone that’s good at music can do accents/imitate individuals. It definitely has some overlapping advantages though.

BeatlebugI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I the Blue Ridge Mountains above all of Earth, I had no idea they had a song. Thanks, @Wigwam!
(However, I’m mildly disappointed that that they refer to the Blue Ridge Mountains ‘over in Tennessee’ when everyone knows that there are more Blue Ridges in MY STATE! )
On the topic of random Tubing, I’ve been binge-watching Key and Peele vids lately — these are my favourite:
EDIT: After listening to the song on repeat for hours, I realised that he sings ‘over near Tennessee,’ not ‘over in Tennessee’.
