It being December 24th (at least in this time zone), here is a cheaply-made Edison film from 1905 loosely based on “The Night Before Christmas.”

Loca’s locomotion is odd — it’s like her(?) rear legs can’t coordinate with her front legs: they move forward at the same time as the front legs, instead of alternating (like a human when walking whose right arm is in synch with his right leg, and left arm in synch with left leg).

I have a new favorite Beatles song.
(I recommend listening to it at .5 speed)

First, some background info: Hinterland’s Who’s Who is a sort of nature-PSA-thingy that sometimes aired (airs? I’m not sure if it’s still around, unfortunately. I haven’t seen it since I was a kid) on TV during breaks, amongst other commercials. In each one, they look at a Canadian animal.
Anywho, this parody is absolutely hilarious:

I did when I first watched it, I liked it better at .5 though. I could not breathe, I had to pause the video so I didn’t die.
By the way, what’s under the spoiler two posts up? I can’t see it on my phone.

It’s a video of a stand-up comedian talking about kinky stuff and the implicit hubris of saying ‘God bless you’.

BEHOLD: the most cringeworthy Bowie thing I have ever come across and possibly ever will.
(A shame, as ‘Crystal Japan’ is a lovely little atmosphere piece.)
I was also binge-watching this delightful channel (which I highly recommend) when I came across this:

Eventually it doesn’t even sound like a word anymore. It just turns into a random sound.
I like to turn it into “Biscuit! Biscuit!”
And personally, I would’ve thought “Dancing In The Street” was pretty much enshrined as Bowie’s peak-cringe moment! But I guess opinions are more varied than I realized…
