I was thinking about the similarities between March Of The Black Queen and Snow White, Queen Grimhilde reminds me of the black queen mentioned in the song.
By the way, the only part of this song that is repeated is the chorus, of which there are 2 choruses.

I think that Queen Rocks has a terrible tracklisting so i thought i’d edit it’s tracklisting to make a better compilation of Queen’s more popular rock songs.

I love Keep Yourself Alive. Particularly amusing that it was their first song.
I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Sort of, although it was their first song on their first album, i’d argue that The Night Comes Down was their first song because the version released on Queen was recorded in 1971, whereas the other 9 songs on this album were recorded in 1972.

The poll that there’s a good chance you’ve been subconsciously waiting for if you like Queen, put your hands together for what is your favorite Queen album.

As a note, if you’re wondering why The Cosmos Rocks isn’t on this list, it has nothing to do with the fact that it’s labeled as Queen and Paul Rogers rather than Queen because i do consider the album to be a Queen album, it’s because that the album sounds like what stepping on a Lego barefoot feels like, sorry Paul but Freddie is simply irreplaceable.
By the way, i picked A Night At The Opera, my favorite tracks being Death On Two Legs (Dedicated To…), Sweet Lady, and The Prophet’s Song/Love Of My Life.

I don’t know their discography well enough to make a final judgement, but I picked Innuendo on its emotional value and the strength of the title track, The Show Must Go On, Headlong, and These Are The Days Of Our Lives.

Innuendo is one of those albums where it starts and ends on a good note but the middle really sucks, at least to me. I think that the first 5 tracks are good and that the last 3 tracks are good but out of the 4 tracks in the middle, These Are The Days Of Our Lives is the only track i like and i think that Ride The Wild Wind, All God ‘s People, and Delilah are among the worst Queen tracks released not counting The Cosmos Sucks because i hate that album with a passion.

To be honest though, Queen have a pretty awful discography compared to their classic rock peers. If you were to use only the good songs, their discography would be about half its current size. They don’t have any real classic albums either, except for a Day At The Races which wouldn’t even be in the Beatles top 5.

Probably a mixture, maybe some phrases are played on guitar and others synth.

Just been listening to some queen for the first time in ages recently and still think they produced some of the best music of the 70’s. A night at the opera was, in my opinion, a wonderful album and, as you alluded to, a day at the races, even better.
Unfortunately, and for such a ridiculously talented band, they were so disappointing in the 80’s and just seemed unsure of where they actually wanted to go musically. Well, they certainly weren’t alone there……!!
And my bird can't sing......!!

Agreed. For a band with so much talent, they often misplaced it. Too much of a singles band to be a serious contender against the Beatles IMO, who mastered both.
