If you go back to page 23 post #448, you will see that this was about partial birth abortions. Since somehow we went through 2 whole pages in such a short period of time, I will repost the post in it’s entirety (for the most part) here for anyone who missed out on it:
Earlier in this thread, we mentioned what we thought about abortion and it seemed like a split, some of us including myself are against it and others seemed to support it, but let’s take it one step further.
What do you guys think about partial birth abortions?
I personally think they’re even worse than a regular abortion. Although I am against abortion, I can understand why women would want to do it, such as not wanting to carry a baby from a rape or not wanting to have to go through the pain, but I can’t understand why this is even a thing. By the way, a partial birth abortion is when a baby is ready to be released from the womb, as normal, but instead they puncture it’s skull and stick a vacuum up there which removes it’s brain, therefore crushing the skull and killing the baby before it can be fully born, my source. Sometimes this fails, so they let the baby be born alive and then just leave it to die, here’s another source where someone mentions that she held a survivor only for it to die 45 minutes later.
Below is a visual guide to how this procedure is done. Due to it’s graphic and depressing nature, I will place it in spoilers.

To be honest with you, just the idea of this is sickening and creepy as hell, I think it’s a damn good thing George Bush singed that act which made this illegal here in the United States. If you decide to go through with having a baby only to decide at the last minute that you don’t want it, please just sign it up to adoption instead or give it to a friend who wants a baby, don’t kill it.

Mammoths? Lots of meat for the meat-eaters. Wonder if they taste like chicken.
I should shut up now.

They could live at the north pole but then again, I’d rather not bring back the dead, this isn’t John Lennon we’re talking about.

I think we should do everything we can to help the environment including maintaining and planting trees, stopping digging up huge areas of green so we can dump a load of concrete on it, recycle as much as possible, turning off lights, going paperless as much as possible and everything else. However, I find people (who have access to before someone mentions some tribe in the middle of nowhere who don’t) who refuse to use toilet paper or use a millimetre of water to wash weird and best to be ignored.

Cattle grazing is the prime factor in deforestation. Lumber wants to keep forests around.

Mammoths would probably live in zoos. And there would most likely be only females so we wouldn’t be reintroducing them to the wild or anything.

Instead of recycling, we could simply just make, use, and buy reusable items because when things are recycled, they are sent to a recycling plant, which requires power, which often comes from a power plant, which puts smoke in the air which is slowly killing the ozone layer and as much as I want global warming to happen so us northerners could have 90 degree Christmases, I know that it would also damage many animals natural habitat. So instead of buying a big box of plastic water bottles and recycling them, buy a reusable one and refill it.

Pig-Pen did wash properly, he just attracted dirt to himself without trying.

Aww that’s kind of sad, either have both males and females or none at all. I would quite like something like the Tasmanian tiger to come back, it only became extinct in the last century so would be more adapted to our current climate than mammoths.

What do you think about death row, I don’t have a problem with it because some people would rather die than spend the rest of their life in prison and I believe that if a life without the possibility of parole sentence is allowed, then so should death, although I believe that the criminal should have the choice.

Death Row doesn’t give prisoners a choice.

It’d be great if they did, I think that death row and life without the possibility of parole are equal punishments, the only advantage to not getting death row is that you have more time to plan an escape but good luck trying to escape prison nowadays and if you do escape, good luck not getting caught.

I don’t think that anybody should be given a life sentence, so I’m really not a supporter of the death penalty, either. Even if the person had a choice, I still wouldn’t think it was right because somebody else has to do that. There’s a quote that goes something like “he who fights monsters should see to it that he does not become a monster in the process”. If the state kills people for killing people, doesn’t that make them just as guilty? I guess I would be more (but still not) okay with them letting the person commit suicide, but they don’t even do that. If somebody on death row tries to commit suicide, they will be saved, and I think that’s wrong.
