Ugh. The sink in my kitchen won’t. Stop. Dripping. This needs to be fixed. It’s driving me bonkers. I blame it for any odd posts. I’m not myself right now.
(No, literally, I’m not myself. I switched bodies with a zebra in a zoo in Washington. I’m eating grass as I type this.)
(See what I mean?)

Enjoy the grass. And a zebra that can log on to a forum and type is fairly impressive.

Mine drips too, but inside the pipe after you use the sink, so it’s not a dripping tap. The computer I use now is on the breakfast table to one side of the kitchen so it’s making me almost as bonkers.
I’m thinking meercat not zebra.

When people think it’s strange that you should like the Beatles if you’re young, that it’s “old music” for old people. They forget that the Beatles’ original audience was young people. (I expressed it much more eloquently in the ages thread.)

Folk who are surprised by the weather in Scotland.
Every feckin’ year at the end of February and beginning of March the weather is horrendous as winter gives us one hell of a kickin’ before the sun comes and it begins to improve. It happened last year, the year before and every other i can remember and wow it happened this year. Yet every year folk are amazed this is what happens and treat it as a sign that things are somehow getting worse. What did you expect you deluded dolts?

Idiots who put noisy pipes on their exhaust and roar trough our quiet residential neighbourhood trying to show off their macho-ness. Drives my dad up the wall and down again, and I always go along for the ride (I’ve got a ticket).

Yeah, you could do an entire subcategory about car noises, if you ask me. Why was it considered a good idea to have those automated door-locker things activate the bloody HORN every time the button is pressed? Just what we needed, more useless horn honking.

Interesting. I would have thought the ladies rest room would have been called jane.
But seriously, who in their right minds thinks someone wants to read anything left in a rest room regardless of what surface it’s left on? Logic tells you that someone read it before they (hopefully) washed up afterward.
Many a peeve could be written about the state some lazy-ass slackers leave the rest rooms.

I’ve got a Beatles “Apple” pet peeve.
When they released the Green Apple USB in 2009, all they put on there was the 12 studio LP’s, + Past Masters and nothing else. BLAH!
Instead of the Past Masters , they should have put the original 45’s & EP’s that weren’t on an album in chronicle order along with the LP’s. Especially when it came to the unique Magical Mystery Tour EP instead of the U.S. Capitol version.
What a great opportunity they had here to release the Beatles “canon” as they were meant to be released.
Lazy Blokes!

Going to make something for your dinner and finding you don’t have all the ingredients.
The term ‘national treasure’ when it is in relation to people, the people who are “national treasures”, and how i’m meant to find these “natural treasures” wonderful intriguing special people.

People who walk in at the last moment at gigs and then smoothly try to push themselves to the front. Just queue like everybody else, you a******s!
That’s a big peeve with me as well. Like I’m supposed to say, “Although I’ve been standing here for 30 minutes, please take my place in line…I’ve been saving it just for you.”
You were kind in calling them a******s.

At a Duran Duran concert where my friends and I had waited in line for 12 hours to get front row, two women who’d pushed their way to the third row spoke loudly about how they were going to push to the front. Thank goodness they gave us some warning. I yelled, “Lock arms!” and those of us in front row kept them from pushing through until they gave up.
It was a good moment.

You can add those who drive right up to where the lanes merge in traffic jams and push in ensuring that everyone behind moves at a much slower pace and sit there twiddling their thumbs and getting more and more annoyed at the crappy music on the radio as they wait desperately for an update on why they are going nowhere.

It gets a bit more difficult when you and the other person are both 5.5 ft. and the man pushing is a rather big dude who is about 6.3 ft.
But, I agree. It’s amazing how people can work together to prevent stuff like that from happening.
@Zig Well, I actually called him something else in his face, but that’s not meant to be repeated in public

My turn to knock Youtube commenters. Particularly the ones that talk on and on about whether or not they follow “real music” and use words that we wouldn’t say to our grandmothers. Trolls that have no utter purpose in life and sit around and “complain” when they are utterly clueless. Shut up and get a job!!

I hate the way a lot of comments on YT end up in a US/UK war. It really is puerile.
