I got reminded of this while I was tumblr. The Red Cross and other groups gave us this after Hurricane Katrina. Something to drink when thirsty dispite how horrible tasting.
Not sure what this is or if it is available here. We have light (lower alcohol) beer, but beer water?

It is just drinking water in a can. Anheuser-Busch put water in cans and put their logo on it. Maybe this photo is good enough for you to see the words “Donated by Anheuser-Busch”. They were doing their part to help the victims of a natural disaster.

Offline Oh, I see. I thought this had actual beer in it. It made me think of how people, including children, in the middle ages couldn’t drink water because it was too contaminated, so they drank mead instead.

Offline A new one – time zones.
It makes conversations here difficult when everyone else is in the ‘wrong’ zone 
And, erm, nothing to do with me having to wait another 3 hours until someone in Hong Kong wakes up *cough*. Nothing at all to do with that!!!

Offline Slow drivers!
I drive daily in a city of close to 1 million people in it. City driving is NEVER fun, but nothing makes me angrier than people who drive UNDER the speed limit! They cause as many, if not more, accidents than people who speed do…I’m sure of it.

There is a road in the city where I work and a road at my mom’s house like that. I avoid both roads if at ALL possible. Typical line shouted at least 5 times during each drive on those two roads: “Dude, it’s 55 through here. Why in the *&%)!$ are you going 35?” And there’s no use passing because you’ll get behind another driver going just as slow. There’s isn’t anything to see on those roads. It’s boring driving. You’d think they’d want to get through those stretches as quickly as possible. I’m getting worked up just thinking about them.

Uhhhh!!! That’s so sweet.
Slow drivers are not only a right pain but also can be dangerous. Very annoying sitting behind someone driving 20 miles below the limit.

Especially when they drive under the speed limit on a freeway in the passing lane while insisting on leaving 47 car lenghts between them and the car ahead of them.
99.567% of all of my pet peeves involve the driving habits of others.
