My stupid laptop. The thing’s getting to be maybe 10 or 11 years old now, and it’s always slow and rarely too reliable. Just now I had to switch to mobile as it kept randomly shutting off without any notice, despite the fact that it wasn’t overtly warm and that it was also plugged in. I swear, the thing can barely run Chrome without running into some kind of issue.
I’m thinking of replacing it perhaps within the next 6 months, although I’m not exactly swimming in extra cash, either.

Stick it on eBay with a clear description that it is gubbed, listing all it’s faults, and that it’s beyond living but with the word “retro” in the description. Someone will buy it, probably after a bidding war.

@WeepingAtlasCedars I feel your pain. My tablet (although not as old as yours) is so slow, the screen just changes to a black screen whenever it feels like it, and can stay that way for about 10 minutes,or the anti virus software will kick in without any warning, which is obviously handy when you’re emailing someone. After I’ve got rid of the antivirus,I then have to type my password in again, even though I’m already logged in. Imagine doing this 10-15 times a day. It’s a wonder I haven’t launched the thing out of the window

I can’t come on this website on my phone because there are too many popups. This is the only site that does this to me. I’ll try exiting out of all my tabs and clearing the browsing data and that will help for a solid minute, but then it starts again. Super annoying.

This poster of the album covers. The omission of ‘Past Masters ’ is a small issue; if you bought every album featured you wouldn’t have every song – personally, i’d drop ‘LIBN’ as the Red and Blue albums are classics whereas ‘LIBN’ is awful and doesn’t feature any new tracks, just alternate mixes/versions/new creations.
My main issue however is that ‘Pepper’ and MMT’ are wrongly placed. I presume the reason is so ‘Pepper’ stands out next to the band’s name yet it’s wrong placement really bugs me.

I think the issue with doing Past Masters is keeping it consistent with release order (which is pretty dumb considering MMT and Pepper). If you included Past Masters where it should go it would break up the Anthologies.

Past Masters was released in 1988 so before Anthology 1 which was 1995. It would slot in between the Blue Album and Live At The BBC . Which I’ve just realised is also wrongly positioned as the whole ending is messed up. Whoever put that together needs to spend time revising their Beatles albums chronology.

Aye. You see bags of dog poo hanging from trees, dangling from bushes, dropped on the ground and all kinds of other places. Why they don’t bin it is beyond me. It’s fine to use your hands to bag it but carrying to a bin, of which there are many nearby, is too disgusting!!

Song lyrics online which are completely wrong yet not hard to understand when listening to.
One of my favourite songs is ‘Belonging’ by Kendall Payne and the lyrics given are
When you’ve been hurting, deeply hurting all alone
You wonder when, if ever, you will find a home
When you’ve been searching, endless searching for the truth
You wonder when, if ever, it will search for you
You wonder if someone will ever search for you
The lyrics in bold are clearly wrong and should be
We cannot time our wounds to heal on human clocks
You gave space to grieve a devestating loss
You gave me space to breathe despite all of my flaws.
One listen to the song and it’s plainly obvious (from 2:12 in the video). It’s not even close.

2)When you might be among the last bunch of people who’re watching Yesterday in cinema (cuz the movie will be on this Friday, which is about 2 months later than global release), and have just discovered there are only 4 cinemas in your city that arrange time for the movie and all of them are far from you.
