I don’t know why but I just love the fact you play Sims 4. I don’t know why it delights me so, it just does.

Alphabetical order. Due to it’s simplicity, many people prefer this over the more accurate chronological order but this order of organizing sucks, especially when it comes to music and film series where there’s a chronological progression.

One has to have a social life, and forum and Sims 4 is mine!!!!
And I do have the mod expansions “Wicked Whims” and “Basemental Drugs” installed which make the game a little more – *cough* – ‘adult’.
Which I think fits more the idea of Nasty playing Sims 4.

Well I never knew those were a thing and now I feel slightly unnerved that you can play as a crackhead prostitute in Sims…but now I kind of want to.
I think the last time I played Sims was about 8 years ago, I had Sims 2 Pets on Gameboy (I wonder have the young wans on this forum ever seen a Gameboy before?) and Sims 2 on Nintendo DS.
Both were good games although I never got past a level for Sims 2 Pets on GBA where I had to bring a hot meal to someone, it would always be stone cold when I delivered it to the character and she would always complain, like lady, I made you food, if you wanted it hot come to my freaking house or get yourself a microwave.

Same here. I’ve never played the Sims 4, but I’ve played Sims Freeplay for years.
Also, on the topic of pet peeves: Whenever I hit the space bar on my computer, it does like three spaces and a period. So if . I don’t . type carefully all my sentences . turn . into this. It is . so annoying . having . to delete all these extra . spaces and periods.

I can’t stand it when I’m listening to music and someone else starts playing their own music and the songs clash and sound horrible.
I was just standing here listening to Think For Yourself when a bunch of ninth graders started playing Despacito, a pickup truck drove by blasting rap, and the speakers in the gym started playing really loud rock music. Not a good combination

How TV season DVDs get lazier with the Special Features as the seasons go on. For example: the Season One DVD has commentaries on all episodes, a few featurettes, bloopers, deleted scenes, and a behind-the-scenes documentary. The Season Five DVD has trailers for other shows. The Season Eight DVD has no features at all. I demand extra entertainment, dammit!

What’s the point of dvd’s if it doesn’t have extra content.

I agree. The best part of Magical Mystery Tour was the extra content. I enjoyed it a lot more than the actual film.

An irritating one for sure. After years of drowning out distasteful music with my not-soundproof headphones, I’ve gotten very good at tuning out extraneous sounds and tuning in to my music.

That’s me, but with books. I’m still learning. Hopefully I’ll get to that point someday 🙂

When people compare gay men to women. It’s so depressing that so many people (even those who are pro-LGBT) think like this, some even to the point where they expect gays to be feminine and criticize them for being masculine. Gays are just as much of a man as straight men and it’s time society accepted that.

Honestly, the terms “masculine” and “feminine” are really annoying. Why should one thing be considered more masculine than another thing? Labels in general are just the worst.
As someone who has done a lot of studying of gender/sex/sexuality, and who enormously enjoys playing with gender presentation/perception/roles, I appreciate that certain things are considered masculine and others are considered feminine. And certain behaviours really are more feminine and others more masculine, from a biological point of view. Just like any labels, these labels primarily exist to help us compartmentalise the world/ourselves and, therefore, understand it/ourselves better (hopefully anyway).
Basically, just be yourself and don’t be a dick to other people.
