The fact that clothes sizes in so many stores have gotten bigger. It’s near impossible to find a pair of pants or a skirt in my size. Even the smallest sizes in a lot of the stores I shopped at in middle school are too big on me (I am definitely bigger than I was when I was twelve). I heard that Zara’s sizing is smaller than American stores, but even their XS is too big. Why is it so hard to find XXS or 000? Americans have gotten fat and all the regular sized people are suffering because of it. ):
I have a similar problem with jeans. It’s hard to find jeans for me that are small enough around the waist but long enough. The part that’s a little messed up is that I could get those requirements filled more easily if I wore women’s jeans. Apparently you can only be skinny if you’re a girl.

@Necko I think it’s more along the lines of ‘You have to wear revealingly tight jeans if you’re a girl’, which I find slightly messed up. (Pet peeve of mine. )
Another pet peeve of mine is when the guitar solo starts and the cameras immediately pan to EVERYONE BUT the person who’s doing the solo.

^^Skinny jeans and jeggings aren’t that popular anymore ’round my block. I hardly see anyone wearing them anymore but they’re still ‘a thing’ in the US?
Straight-leg and slim fit are what everyone is wearing now.

I don’t really keep up with the fashions, but now that you mention it, I guess they’re beginning to pass.
I dunno. I only wear bell-bottoms anyway

XXsmall is definitely not a normal person size (even excluding overweight people). But maybe it is and I’m just hugely obese at a size 8 and I haven’t noticed
Size isn’t what reveals whether or not you’re obese. There are other factors that play into it (none of them are clothing sizes). I shouldn’t be an XXsmall. I should probably be an XS, but because people are getting bigger, so are sizes, so what used to be an XS is now more like a small.

Skinny jeans seem to be the most popular for women, but mom jeans and boyfriend jeans are becoming a lot more available, and culottes are also making a comeback. Low rise jeans are also hard to find now, which are more revealing than mid or high rise. I don’t think it’s hard to find jeans that are not skin tight. It’s rare I see a female at school or work wearing jeans that aren’t skinny jeans, but I still wear mom jeans because I think they’re cool. I don’t care if other people think they are.

You can’t be short if you’re a guy, either. I had to buy pants for my brother this summer and it was nearly impossible to find his size anywhere. And he’s 5’7″, which I don’t think is really that short where it should be so hard. Most stores didn’t even carry his size.

^ I generally try to.
However, it’s true that men and women do have different general body plans (which is why I still shop in the women’s section). But even so, not all women or men are shaped the same…

I’ve got a similar pants problem. Let’s take a nice pair of orange velvet trousers that I bought recently, for example:
Soft? Yep. Comfortable? Yep. Waist is good? Yep. Legs are the right length? NOPE. They’re so long that they’d drag on the floor if I wore them as they are now, but if I’d gotten a smaller size (which there really weren’t any), the waist would be too tight. I still have to get them hemmed.

People who complain about the results of awards. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Sexiest Man of the Year, Grammys, Bible of the Year, Best Cheesecake in the City, you name it. There’s always going to be some idiot who gets all hot and bothered because something they don’t like won and something they do like didn’t win. Listen, folks: these things are supposed to be for fun. They’re not supposed to be taken seriously as grim death.
Then the defense mechanisms pop up. “The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is worthless anyway. It’s all a popularity contest.” Yes. Yes it is, dummy. Unpopular things don’t win awards.
Side note and clarification: I’m not talking about legitimate complaints, such as non-white people not being nominated.

Tiny cuts on my hands. Even more so at joint bendy parts. They can be a constant dull ache unless you get a bandaid and when you do, you become less able to use that finger.

Why can’t microwaves prominently display what wattage they are? Every time you encounter a new one, you have to guess how long to cook your food.

I hate it when you’re talking to a few people and they just don’t answer you. Like they didn’t hear you. Sometimes I feel like people don’t like me.

Sorry to hear that @thewalruswasbrian. It doesn’t happen to me often, but when it does, it rankles deeply. I’m a rather timid communicator anyway, so when someone appears not to be listening, it makes me want to crawl back into my bunker, here behind my Wall.
If it makes you feel any better, we like you
