Offline Everytime Ron Nasty corrects me it is usually because I was lazy and forgot to fact check. I actually like it when he comes in to clean up facts on posts, because that’s just what he does.
I’m against PMing corrections, because there is no shame in making a mistake, and then we can all see the error and the correction, and if the person corrcting is wrong, then that can be corrected.
Its not like when I see a factual error in a post I think to myself “man, I absolutely hate this person!”

Offline Looks like I’m not the only person who doesn’t mind it when Ron Nasty corrects them, I actually like it because I learn new things from him.
However, if he chose to correct via PM’s, I’d get pretty pissed off, especially if it’s just to tell me something like John played piano on Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da , not Paul.

This whole correcting thing is not something I’d recommend. Yes, we should look to better ourselves in how we conduct ourselves in daily living but we shouldn’t stubbornly focus on it or constantly actively seek it out and people shouldn’t be PM’ing others on how to improve. Simple rule is post and behave in a manner that you’d like to be seen on here sticking to the forum rules, remembering people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, beliefs etc are on here.If someone sends me a PM on how to change i’d tell them firmly to get stuffed.

Don’t, there’s lots of people who haven’t got PM’s criticizing them as a person and also I can’t see a reason why anyone would want to criticize you as a person here, it’s not like you’ve done anything here on this forum that’s offensive or would really piss us off, same with most of the people on this forum.

Offline I’m fortunate that it is actually fresh-go-pick-’em blueberry season.
Robert Plant’s sexiness irritates me slightly. It should be illegal to have that much curly blond hair. I mean, the other guys are hot too, but they don’t rub it in as much because they’re busy playing awesomely — which is much more to my liking.
