When people accuse Led Zeppelin of ‘plaguarizing’. If you’re going to accuse them thus, at least spell it correctly. paul-mccartney-facepalm_gif

As we’re talking about newspapers anyway:

This excerpt of an article in the Guardian about online spies:

Nobody likes being spied on. When you’re innocently browsing the web, it’s deeply unpleasant to think that faceless technology corporations are monitoring and recording your every move.

While such data collection is legal, that doesn’t mean it’s all right. There are plenty of things you might prefer to keep to yourself, such as your income, your sexuality, your political views or your membership of the Yoko Ono fanclub. For an indication of what can be inferred from your online habits, take a look at the Apply Magic Sauce tool produced by Cambridge Psychometrics Centre, which produces a profile of your personality based on Facebook and Twitter data.

Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

I mean…

Main song from this guy…

Main style from these peeps…

(These guys are way more awesome than Led Zeppelin, even though they partly stole the song as well.)
And then their song…

Yep, definitely not plagiarism…

That’s only one example for you.

I can see why people find it funny but I don’t like how the media utilises the hatred against Yoko to make their articles more pleasing.

That wasn’t the point. I don’t really care that they plagiarised, I’m just irritated at people who keep continually bringing it up without even spelling it right. Anything gets annoying if repeated too often, even a thing that is true and/or you agree with.

^^ I can definitely understand the procrastination side of that. I once had to do a tiny little task for the following school year, and had the entire summer break to do it. I did it the day before school started. ahdn_paul_01

However, I`d much rather be bored and have plenty of time to spare than be so burnt out that you can`t think straight. a-hard-days-night-paul-8

When there is a moment of silence in between songs that are supposed to be part of a medley, it ruins the medley.

Here are 3 Queen related pet peeves:

1. the acoustic version of Love Of My Life, the piano version is a lot better and is a guilty pleasure of mine, why did they have to butcher it on stage.

2. Freddie sometimes sings Brian and Roger’s songs, you get to sing 99% of the time, let the inferior singers have their 1 song, it’d be like as if John sang Act Naturally instead of Ringo.

3. I hate that Tie Your Mother Down isn’t as popular as it should be, it’s the epic kids anthem and should be as popular as We Will Rock You and Bohemian Rhapsody.

If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

Couldn’t this be in the Queen thread?

Some people may like them, but I dislike automatic flushing toilets. They just need to put the flusher button on the floor so you can step on it to flush the toilet.
