I was a member of a forum way back in 2011 and one day I couldn’t log on and I just thought I was banned because the admin never liked me.
Anyways today I got an email saying “you haven’t been on in 5 years, d’ya wanta come back?”, so I said alright and changed my password and finally got logged in.
I went to the ‘Introduce Yourself’ topic and said I was a member 5 years ago but I couldn’t login one day and just thought I was banned. Rather then welcoming me back, the admin (who never liked me nor I them), started bitching about why I never emailed her about not being able to login.
Now I know why I didn’t care that I couldn’t log in.
Nice to see you again too admin

Ridiculous charges for “postage & packing”!
Had somebody order me Lennonology from the website, paying them back once I get my bank account that I’ve been told to open in the next couple of weeks up and running.
$150 dollars for the fast-dwindling hardback. Expensive but it’s looking like it’s one of the essential books, especially for someone like me who loves getting into the minutia to try and better understand how the big picture works in context. Happy to pay the price.
But then there’s the fecking p&p!
$75!!!!!!!!
Fecking seventy-fecking-five fecking dollars.
That’s half the price of the book again!
I know it’s coming from America, but fecking £75… That’s stupid!!!!

I know! I’ve run into this problem myself. A $5 pin which should just fit into an envelope, gets $25 or more p.p. added to it. Or tour merchandise…. A few T-shirts, which usually do end up getting shipped in an envelope, are suddenly not so affordable anymore once the shipping is added. And oftentimes, you can’t get these things anywhere else.

You can probably fly to America, spend the day in NYC, pick up a copy someone has left in a secure location, and fly back for the price.
It’s one reason I’m not buying it. I’m not paying $225 for a book.
