Ah really? Interesting. Well, if she likes that sort of thing, then it isn’t such a wonder she might find ‘A Pillow Of Winds’ a bit dull.

I don’t know what mams are supposed to like– mine likes seventies/eighties/nineties soft rock and classical piano. ahdn_paul_01

^^ Mine likes rocky stuff but it has to be catchy, and it helps if it’s happy.

So bands like ‘Fleetwood Mac’, ‘Kasabian’, ‘Muse’, ‘ELO’ and ‘REM’ are her favourites.

heart the Moody Blues. With the exception of the Grateful Dead they’re the band I’ve seen the most times 🙂 Here’s a little story about one of their concerts:

Let me flesh this out a bit more even. ahdn_paul_06

Add:

Frank Sinatra (it’s only the past oh maybe four or five years I’ve really begun to appreciate him and love his voice)

Aerosmith (since I was a pre teen)

Janis Joplin (and alternately Amy Winehouse)

Annie Lennox

Joni Mitchell

Karen Carpenter (to round out my little list of fantastic female voices there)

The Doors

Crosby, Stills, and Nash (add Young, too!)

And The Reverend Al Green can take me to church.

Thanks! ahdn_george_08 I like to think I have a good taste in music and while I mostly listen to pop punk/classic rock/Rock/heavy metal etc I like to vary what I listen to from time to time.

Here’s 20:

1. Johnny Cash

2. Elvis Presley

3. The Beatles

4. The Temptations

5. Bob Dylan

6. The Beach Boys

7. Jimi Hendrix

8. Eric Clapton/any band he’s in

9. Simon And Garfunkel

10. James Taylor

11. James Brown

12. The Monkees

13. Michael Jackson/Jackson 5

14. The Eagles

15. Queen

16. Elton John

17. Bruce Springsteen

18. AC/DC

19. The Bee Gees

20. Stevie Wonder

21. The Doors

If you were wondering, I never really liked The Rolling Stones, always thought of them as a rip off of The Beatles, kind of funny considering that I like The Monkees who are a direct rip off of The Beatles.

The Beatles

Pink Floyd

The Beach Boys

Simon and Garfunkel

Bob Dylan

The Who

James Taylor

Grateful Dead

CSN + Y(solo career) & Buffalo Springfield

The Rolling Stones

most bands in the same scene and era as these I also know about and listen to. (Looking at you 60s California and British Invasion.)
