Hi everyone!
I’m new over here but I’ve been a huge Beatles fan all my life. Since hardly any of my peers have musical interests kindred to mine, I was hoping I’d find some mates online. That being said, I hope I’ve come to the right place!
What I am really interested in though, is to form an Internet band whereby users from all over the world can overcome geographical boundaries and collaborate to make music. While my aim is to assemble a Beatles-esque band, please note that we won’t be a tribute band. We will write and record our own originals (with which I have quite a bit of experience) but maintain a sound close to that of The Beatles.
The ideal age group of bandmates I’m looking for is 17 to 21 years (I am 19 myself) but if you don’t fit into this category, it’s all right! Please do post anyway and I may make exceptions. Basically, we are in need of a drummer, bassist and lead guitarist (rockabilly and good ol’ fashioned rock and roll would be splendid). I’m competent in the latter role if we can’t find someone but otherwise I’ll take rhythm guitar and some vocal duties, making it essentially a classic rock band outfit. Plus, it would be a bonus if you could sing and/or mix the songs!
To start with, if you’re interested, submitting a demo of you playing your respective instrument would be a great way for me to gauge your level of proficiency. I have faith that this feat can be pulled off if we find the right members so I’d love to hear from you guys soon!

Offline I appreciate the support, guys! If I may add, please feel free to suggest any other websites where I can find a substantial Beatles fan base. This is so far the only large community that I’m aware of.
@Beatlebug Thanks for the link to the thread! From what I gathered, they’re covering the White Album but it will definitely be useful in finding potential members for my project.
