Jeffrey Archer was a UK politician, awful man, undeserving of being the subject of the first post. I wanted to make a post to test out the forum and needed something to write about. IIRC I stumbled upon a pic of him and The Beatles, wondered where it was from, then remembered: “Hey, I have an empty forum on my website! I’ll put it there and see if anyone replies.” It only took 14 months before someone did (other threads were more successful).
I think the first non-me/admin/test/spam account was (drumroll) @Wahlroos, who was member number 5. Although it says he joined in October 2008, roughly six months after the forum was set up, so I don’t know for sure. I do know that the community built very slowly until some kindly person once said something along the lines of “You’ve got a good site here, but your forum is rubbish. I’m going to make it better by using it.” Things picked up fairly quickly once I had five or six returning visitors who very kindly helped me out.
I don’t think there’s a way to sort the threads chronologically. I wish there was.

I don’t think it is… I think you’ll just have tons of @mentions (this’ll get really odd if someone named mentions joins)

Offline With the mentioning so far I found that you can only mention someone once per post and that if you edit past post to mention you they will not show up at the top.

I’ve never removed any of mine, and I have eleven at the top of the page.

Are you practicing drumming? By the way, I noticed the room in the video for your cover of the Michelle drum part is the same room in “A Kidnapping Catastrophe” where you are blasting music and the forumpudlians bust in all “I know you kidnapped Mr. Kite!!!!!”
