My rebellion against the Bowie avatars has begun! (just to clarify, I’m still a Bowie fan, just that I thought a fun little battle like this would make for a nice chapter in Beatles Bible History… )
Btw, Paul’s holding his stick of celery from Vegetables.

The climax of the battle (in Ducreuxian):
And so Peppdog was outnumbered in his Beach Boy battle to the April Foolerys of vb, Fiddy and Walrian (or is it Walrian and Fiddy? ) and decided to give in his fight, instigating peace and love once again to the avatars of Forumpool and their Bowie-esque features.
Might keep this avatar for a little longer though.

Haha that’s awesome!
I’ve gotten used to my new truncated vonbontee avatar! I likely wouldn’t have self-transformed into Vonbiscuit-for-a-day if I thought I’d be altering my frame permanently, but at least c64wood and others still have active examples of the oversize ones. So that little chapter of past forum history is still extant, yay! And now I have a choice between rounded and flattened hair.

No love for the Bolanesque cackle that climaxes “Black Country Rock”?

I do dig ‘Black Country Rock’ but I don’t think that quite counts. The Bowie Laugh is its own special creature, native to the wild marshes of David Robert Jones. However, thanks for prompting me to listen to the song again.
