Like Ex Tex said if a restaurant has good food, good service and is in a good location, people will flock to it. It, being a Beatles-themed restaurant will attract any tourists that come to your town. I wouldn’t really listen to Reddit for marketing advice (she said as she is a Redditor) as I would put money on it that the majority of them are single males with little-to-no social lives outside video games and online forums.

Are you in need of a second poll, seeing as Penny Lane and Pepperland drew, @PizzaGuy415 ?

2017:
@PizzaGuy415 You have to follow your heart and head, rather than being fazed by the opinions of self-selecting randoms on reddit (I love reddit but the hivemind isn’t always correct). Similarly, people here are total Beatles nuts, so we’re likely to encourage you to go for it.
Sure, do your research, and you’re right to tread carefully. But if you really feel in your heart that you could make a Beatles-themed pizzeria a success, make it so. If your pizzas taste fantastic and the venue has an amazing atmosphere inside, people will come.

As others already said you should not rely on the poll too much. If someone is looking for a pizzeria, finds yours and notices it is Beatles-themed he would never say “I’m really into pizza right now, but seeing it is Beatles-themed I’d rather look for another pizzeria”. Because most people either like the Beatles or don’t care about them. Individuals that are that appalled by the Beatles, that they would search another pizzeria instead are quite rare I’d say. All the people on Reddit that weren’t interested would visit your pizzeria regardless if they were hungry and were in the vicinity.
So you would address the same group of people than you would with a normal pizzeria and additionally, you would attract a lot of tourists ( since your pizzeria would be special), people who are just curious and of course Beatles fans or maybe even music fans in general. And if you plan it carefully a Beatles-themed pizzeria would also be as expensive as a normal pizzeria.
Summed up you would not lose any customers by creating a pizzeria that is a bit differently, you would not have to pay a lot more money to built it up and you would gain yourself additional customers. To me, that sounds pretty lucrative and that’s leaving out that the idea is awesome in general!
(Sorry for the overuse of “would” I’m lacking other words)

^ If the pizza is really “wow”, you’d have Beatles’ fans making detours specifically to go to your restaurant because of its USP and its reputation. So bonus bonus I say.

I’m working my ass off perfecting the pizza to be the best it can be. I hope it will be good enough.
I agree, the quality of the pizza is important. But in talking with other owners, they stress so much the importance of ambiance and decor. So I take it very seriously. Obviously, we all love the idea being Beatle fanatics. I just worry it being too much about myself and not what my customers like. It’s not that I think people would walk away seeing the theme, but rather would people consistently come back. It costs about $100k to start the business and this will drain my life savings (I’m 42) so I only get one shot at this. Thanks for all your positive comments. I’m still about a year out, so I’m sure once I settle into a city I will do some research with the locals to figure it out. I think for this theme to work it has to be in a family neighborhood.
