Hey guys! I don’t think anyone remembers my old account, 909afterone, but I haven’t been on here for something like a year and I missed it so I made a new account because I really really really love it here.
Here’s a little introduction anyway. I’m Elysee, which is french and pronounced “Ely-zay”. I just turned 13 last month and I am living in Singapore.
I have been into the Beatles for two years.
I feel terrible for deserting this forum for so long. I bloody love it here. But I’m back.

Glad you made it back, bluesubmarine!
My nephew just celebrated his 13th birthday yesterday and he is also into the Fabs. Looks like The Beatles’ torch will be burning brightly for at least another generation.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

HelloThis is Johnny B.Goode. I am so happy that I joined this forum. I am not the only one but I can say I am one the fewest guys who joined you from Iran. This is obvious if I say my real name is not Johnny B.Goode but I’d rather to call me Johnny.
I love John Lennon .I think his intelligence caused the Beatles admirable influence on the past and present generation.
Sorry if my English is not pretty good.
I am really happy here
Your truly

Johnny posted this a few days ago. For some reason, the post was awaiting moderation but that is all cleared up now.
Let me be the first to say, “Welcome, Johnny!” We hope you enjoy the conversations here!

I hope your post wasn’t on moderation because of the country, Johnny! I know, no politics in here but I just don’t see any reason for it ( unless there were some expletives that got removed or something)
Anyway, welcome Johnny Have a pleasant time here
There’s some automatic spam detection in place, a bit of software called Akismet, that is supposed to stop certain types of messages get through. Unfortunately this one got picked up erroneously – there’s nothing in the content that should have been flagged, it was just an unfortunate error (and not a human one either – it’s all automated).
Akismet does catch a lot of dodgy stuff (mainly comments on articles), but very occasionally it nukes something valid too. This was one of them. I was on holiday last week so thanks to Zig for spotting this. And lastly, welcome Johnny! Please don’t be put off from posting again.

Hello everyone, I know I should sleep at this time, but unfortunately I suffer insomnia…
Anyway, I want to introduce myself: My name is Valentina, I’m 30 years old, and I write from Italy, and first of all, I want to apologize with you for my bad english. But I want to improve it, and the best way for me is to discuss about the Beatles.
I’m a Beatle fan since when I was a child, six years old, I think. And it was love at first listen! I didn’t understand a word at the time, but music is an international language, you know.
When I was 9 years old, I saw Paul McCartney in concert, but actually my favourite Beatle is John. I love him, I love all of him, his songs, his life, his attitude, his mind… he was my lifeline in the darkest hours of my life, and he still is.
But I love the band in general too, and they are one of the few certainties of my life.
As you can see from my avatar, at the same time, I’m really obsessed by Bill Hicks, for me the best comedian of all times. So, sometimes I’ll bother you with my obsession for him…
Ok, that’s all. I need to sleep right now, see you tomorrow!
Bye!

Welcome to the forum Valentina!!
And don’t worry about your English, it doesn’t sound bad and there are many other non-English speaking people on here.

Hello Everyone!
I have actually been coming to this site for a long time just to read it- so much great info on here! I decided to join the forum this morning as I really would love to chat with other like minded fanatics about my favorite topic-The Beatles!
My name is Lizz, I am 36 years old and I am from Southern New Jersey.. I have been a lifelong Beatles fan.One of my earliest memories unfortunately was of the day Lennon was shot. I was almost 5 years old and was in the kitchen with my Mama at the breakfast table and the news came on and I just remember her crying and crying and so I began to cry with her
One of my favorite things to do as a child was lay on the floor in front of the old hi- fi stereo and listen to The Beatles records and look at the sleeves! I have been building a vinyl collection again(just love the sound of records with all the hisses and pops!) and I just smile when my kids do the same. My 7 year old son is becoming quite the Beatles fanatic as well. He can tell you who is singing any given song, when it was recorded and on which album. And so the family tradition continues, lol!
I am so excited that the Beatles are releasing their albums onto vinyl- the quality of 180 gram press sounds so much better than a lot of the junk that was pressed in the late 70’s and 80’s. It costs a bit more but it is so worth it! I know what I am asking Santa for this Christmas!
oh and I had to put one of these smileys here- love them!

Ello All!
My name’s Frankie (as in Frances- I’m a girl) and I’m a teenager from East London.
My favourite Beatles albums are Rubber Soul , With the Beatles and Let It Be . My Dad was born in the same hospital as John Lennon and I’ve seen Paul live 3 times (if anybody heard about him and Bruce Springsteen getting cut off at Hyde Park, it wasn’t actually as shocking as it sounded in the papers. They’d re-started Twist And Shout about 4 times already, and it wasn’t as if they were turned off mid-song)
My favourite Beatle is George. But Paul is an extremely close 2nd.
Other music I like is Green Day, Simon & Garfunkel, Ed Sheeran, Bruce Springsteen, The Beach Boys , Bon Jovi, Amy MacDonald, Jamie Cullum and some Classical. But I’ll listen to most stuff really, even One Direction if I have to.
Other stuff I like is tennis (I’m a massive Roger Federer fan), reading, playing the flute (badly), swimming, writing, Doctor Who, Sherlock (yeah, I’m a total geek), Girl Guiding (which is cool by the way) and playing cards.

Welcome Frankie!!
I knew when I read it in the papers that they were probably over-exaggerating, trying to make small events sound more interesting, I spose. (How cool that you were there though!!)
Oh, and my fave Beatle is also George
