I’m also not named after a beatles song, but my second name is george so that’s alright (i switched my name on this forum from tim g. to george t., because it sounds beatlier. I changed my last name completly, though)

DUH! How could I have forgotten that one? Still, I like the other ones everyone made up…I’m not exactly sure how Dizzy Miss Lizzy works for me, considering I have never been called Lizzy in my life, but I’ll take anything I can get!!!
BTW, Zig- Last night I was listening to the Let it Be album, and I found myself singing, “Oh, P-Elise believe me, I’d hate to miss the train, oh yeah…”

Offline Hi everybody! I’m Anna and I was fortunate to come across this site via Google. So, to the main topic: The Beatles. Well my mom was seven years old when the Beatles first performed in America so she was able to grow up with the Beatles’ music and really experience it firsthand.
She kept wanting me to listen to them as I was growing up but I was too young to appreciate it. That is, until my freshman year of college when I watched “Across The Universe ” with a group of my friends. Ever since, I’ve wanted to know everything about the Beatles. Who they were, and what was behind the music that inspired the movie. I’m the type of person that has to know EVERYTHING about something that I’m interested in!
Needless to say, my mom’s thrilled silly that I love the guys just as much as she does (maybe more!). My sister thinks I’m insane but I’m working on her. I look so forward to meeting everyone and discussing this group of incredible musicians that have inspired me so much. I hope to be 50 years old and telling my 20 year old daughter about how the Beatles take me back as she experiences them for the first time, just like my mom and me
