Hello, I’m Emilia and I’m from Sweden. I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Beatles. I can’t live one day without their music. I love everything with them, their music, of course, all the members and what they stand for.
I’ve imagined alot of times that I was born in the 40’s or 50’s, I would love that. I become warm inside of that tought and then I get back to the reality.
I’ve read alot of books about them and just about John etc, it feels like I get to know them because of that. That leads on to this: Sometimes when im alone I find myself thinking of them as my friends and in one way they are. And other times i find myself thinking that John and George are still alive somewhere, and when I remember the truth i become sad. But when I find myself in times of trouble I listen to The Beatles and everything gets better again.

Welcome, Emilia, please have an apple<3
I often imagine being born in the forties, as well, but then again, I’d rather be born in the thirties cause I definitely don’t(or would not have wanted to… What’s the tense for something that could not have happened?) want to miss out the fifties. But is there really a need to get back into reality? the Beatles didn’t seem to favor it that much, either

Yes, welcome Emilia!
It’s hard to know when it’s best to have been born.
I was 10 years old when the Beatles arrived in America; pretty perfect in a way. I got to experience the Beatles one record, one album, one movie at a time. But I always wished I’d been a little older so my parents would have allowed me to go to a concert.

Hi everyone, Sweeps here. I came across this site whilst searching for pictures of the famous rooftop concert. The forum looks excellent and I look forward to chatting about different aspects of the beatles career. My favourite albums are Hard Day’s Night, Rubber Soul and Let It Be . But they are all brilliant in their own way. (love the smileys)

My 3rd favourite band are the stones i think. The first beatles albums i knew were the red and the Blue Album because my father owned them and i like them so much that i got the 2009 stereo box set for christmas. In the other years i also got anthology, Live At The BBC , love, naked all wings albums and some lennon and some harrison albums
Once there was a way to get back homewards. Once there was a way to get back home; sleep pretty darling do not cry. And I will sing a lullaby

Hi atlesbe, and welcome. We have a few Spanish speakers here, though most conversation happens in English (I feel it becomes more inclusive if everybody uses the same language, though wouldn’t want people to start Spanish-only threads if they like).
EDIT that should have been “wouldn’t want people NOT to start Spanish-only threads if they like”. Basically, go ahead
Glad you could join us. I’m Joe – I run this site, and occasionally pop by the forum to apologise for breaking things.

Hello all, I will try and keep this brief as possible!
My name is Emily and I’m 13 years old (14 in July), I am from a town called Sutton Coldfield outside Birmingham in England, UK, Earth etc. I am a vegetarian, a pacifist and I believe strongly in equalism and rights for all!I have grown up listening to The Beatles because my dad is a bit of a fan but I only got into them myself at the start of this year when my music teacher played a section of ‘All My Loving ‘ in class, from then on I have been a massive fan, a beatlemaniac (sorry John, I know you didn’t like that expression).
I listen to The Beatles for an average of 1 hour-2 hours every day (my grades have declined since discovering them, needless to say!), apart from on Sundays because I listen to this fab radio show called Beatles Brunch on Absloute Radio 60’s, which is on for two hours (10.00-12.00), and then I listen to them in the afternoon as well for about another hour or two, so all in all, I suppose you could say that I like them quite a lot!
They rule most aspects of my life and I’m completely happy with that, I can’t believe I used to listen to people like Lady Gaga and Rihanna (sorry if there’s people out there that like them, I don’t mean to offend anybody!).
A couple of months ago, I read comments on YouTube saying ‘I wish I lived in the 60’s” and ”I’m a 60’s girl at heart” and that kind of thing and I thought, god, that’s a bit wierd but, now, I can honestly say that I wish I had as well, I don’t feel as if I belong in the modern day society, which is actually quite a bad thing because it means that I fit in with very few people, but never mind, I’m me, and I’m happy with that!
So, that’s me, hello
Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.
