Hi! I’m Sarah, and I already posted a semi-introduction thing because I couldn’t find this. Bear with me, I’m bound to make a lot more stupid mistakes.
I’m 16 and live in Minnesota. Actually in a very, very, small Minnesotan town that is in the process of recovering from a tornado a couple years back. My hobbies include (but are not limited to) Beatles, hockey, tennis, writing, and reading.
My father started me on the Beatles (among other great bands such as Pink Floyd, The Doors, etc.) at a very early age. The Beatles had always been among my favorite bands, then I decided to do an english speech on them in seventh grade, and then I got hooked.
Dad started brainwashing me with Rock trivia in the car. We usually went on road trips for hockey, and so my father began training me into the ‘right’ music from the get go, playing games such as “Name that Tune”, “Name that Artist”, “Name that Album”, and “Name the Release Year”.
Now, that I’ve bored you with my life story, g’day to you all!

If I played that trivia game with my Dad he would say “Probably one of those big hair drug addicts guys” LOL!! (He doesn’t like the Beatles)
Welcome to all of you guys!! I’m Mith from Mexico

mith, we’ve got something in common. I guess, my mum’d say: turn off those gaffers that used to be the beatles once. my familia doesn’t approve ‘those gaffers’ which makes the whole thing even more exciting – forbidden fruit is the sweetest or something.
hello, hello Sarah. I’m Magda from Poland – we’re the same age – glad we have you here. (;

Hi and welcome, followthesun-from-cold-and snowy-Minnesota. My mom grew up in MN, and my grandma and most of my horde of aunts, uncles and cousins still live there. What area are you in (if that wouldn’t be TMI), my family’s up near Rochester?

"What happens to them?" insisted Milo.
"Oddly enough, they often grow ten times the size of everyone else," said Alec thoughtfully, "and I’ve heard that they walk among the stars."

My Mom liked them a bit more. But for my parents, they’re just drug addicts. I had a dream once, my Dad and myself in his room, and I was begging him to go out because Paul was in the living room, with a ring and a big bouquet of roses ready to ask his permission to marry me, and he was “No! Never! you won’t marry an addict” and I was so sad because my Dad didn’t let me marry Paul LOL!!!

Thank you very much for the warm welcome guys (<– first Beatles smiley, WIN!)
My parents approved, but get a bit conserned about the whole ‘obsession’ bit of it. But they figured there’s a lot more horrible stuff I could be obsessing over.
You should hear some of the dreams I have, they get really bizarre. Like one time I dreamed that I had to babysit a hippo for Ringo, because it was his pet and he named it Sparkles, then I left it alone with my friends for a little bit and came back to find they ate Sparkles!! It was… weird, to say the least.

Hello all. I’ve been kicking around the site for a bit and decided to register. So… What to say? 40 years old. Play a bit of guitar. Cape Cod is my home, Jameson my drink and The Beatles my band.
I have to say Joe you have done a remarkable job on this site. Well done!

Today Mar 3 I am a new member to this forum
I am not quite in my 60’s and sadly do not live in the revered Liverpool, however, I am very proud to be a staunch Beatle fan.
“Let me take you down” (back) to that fateful night in Feb 1964, me, along with millions of other Bealtes fans watched with awe and pleasure those “four fine lads from Liverpool” make hsitory as no other band has or will.
It was from that night, i could not get enough of this amazing sound and energy, however, it was not until later in my life that I have added seriously to a slight colletions of books and of course all their albums released in Canada. ( I scored “Introducing the Beatles on the VeeJay label from e-bay of all places).
Just recently I picked up the print of the Fab Four with Ed Sullivan and I belive the stage manager at their dress rehearsal through a silent auction. It is one of my favourite possessions.
Thank you for this forum
Until next time
