That’s what I was thinking, but I wasn’t really sure. I suppose Joe could move it if need be.

Well here I go. My name is Elisa, but I prefer to use a nickname I invented, Mithveaen.

What does your nickname mean? I can’t even pronounce it.

Oh I love The Lord of the Rings and it’s supposed to mean the Gray Sea in one of the langagues that Elvish speak (to be honest, I don’t remember which one, a friend of mine who speaks it created the name for me) . It was a character from a fanfic I wrote about Boromir.. but I never finished it. I might do that this year. I prefer to write my own fiction.

And it’s Mith-VA-en. But it’s that’s too hard, I’m just Elisa 🙂

Well it doesn’t really matter if I can pronounce it – I only have to write it. I didn’t realise anyone could actually speak Elvish. How do you even learn – is there a book?

Actually there are books. In the movie Lord of the Rings, Aragorn and Arwen talk it a lot. But I don’t know a word of it, a friend of mine kind of translated me the words “Gray Sea”.

Sorry it took me a while to answer this….

I dislike war, organised religion, fascism and American spelling (sorry to any religious people or Americans – no offence intended!).

DUDE!!! Me too! And I’m American! I tolerate organised religion though (one of my better friends is the preacher’s daughter) despite being atheist. Other than that, I’m Michael Locricchio (pronounced Low CREeK ee oh). My nickname came from people not being able to remember Michael and not wanting to say all of Locricchio so they settled on CREeK (the “The” part is to make me feel better. Just call me CREeK). I live in a really small town called Yreka, CA. It’s 22 miles south of Oregon! I used to live in Long Beach, CA but moved up here when I was, um, 14? I’m not sure. I was born on April 29, 1992 (the day the LA Riots broke out! In the LA area too!) and just turned 18 a few months ago. The first Beatles song I ever listened to was “I Am The Walrus ” in 2007 with a great friend of mine and then I never listened to them until last summer! Wasn’t a choice really as much as I didn’t know where to look. I saw the movie “Across The Universe ” was on HBO so I watched it because I remebered from a few years ago it looked really cool. I didn’t know it was a Beatles movie at the time.

After that, I was awaiting The Beatles Rock Band. I was a huge rock band fan and I always wanted the next one! It just happened to be The Beatles. I played the game and beat the story on Sept 9, 2009. I was in love! After that, I noticed a little piece of paper in the game’s case. It was an advertisement about the recent remasters. I took it to my mom and told her “This is what I want for Christmas!” (It’s commercialized enough to be a holiday for everyone). I also wanted a guitar so that I could play some of their songs, among others. Haven’t touched it in weeks but I will take it out soon later today.

After I got the albums, the first thing I did was download them on to my computer. I got all the way to Sgt Pepper ‘s (my favourite at the time). I don’t own much Beatles anything, just the Rock Band, the remasters, a few pics with art based on the albums, a few shirts, and… that’s about it. I too, am the only one in my family who is a huge Beatles fan. My mom, who is from the 60s, didn’t listen to them and my brothers and sister just don’t listen to them (my older brother, twin, is starting to like them though).

I listen to The Beatles every day thourgh my iPod or Youtube and I am practicing to play Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds on guitar. I’m graduating this year where I will go to college to get singing and (formal) guitar lessons (teaching myself hasn’t turned out as planned). I’m trying to write a story about what, I’m not sure. All I know is that my goal is to have an allusion to every Beatles song (the albums and singles, no anthology). I don’t have a title yet but I am leaning towards A Day In The Life . I also have one character, Bulldog (he’s a rebel! and not the main character). Any ideas?

I think mjb already made one -> Let’s have a bit of fun! But if there’s need for a new thread, I don’t see why someone couldn’t just start one.

Ad hoc, ad loc, and quid pro quo! So little time! So much to know!

Great idea! I’ve written many stories containing Beatles influence over the years, never one that contains every song though. I’m turning 18 this year as well, although I live in Australia so I graduated high school last year and I started university in February. I’m studying filmmaking so most of my film ideas at the moment revolve around The Beatles and the Traveling Wilburys.

Nice. I’m not smart so I can’t get into a real college because I didn’t take the nessacary classes so I will have to take them in a community college. It’s mainly foriegn language and such but whatever, gives me a chance to take other classes to further my knowlege. I don’t know much about filmaking but I’m an actor so if you need some creative help, I can try. Won’t act for you due to the Pacific Ocean and all but I can try my best to help.

Okay, hi. I’m Alissa. I’m seventeen, and live in Canada, a small town, are there any other Canadians on the site? I love to read and write and think. I’m very introverted, but extremely social at the same time, which is odd. I lead almost a… double life? This may be too much info, but, ah well. I’d like to be a poet when I’m older, and my one wish (and regret) is that I was born in 1943. Strange, I know, but I don’t feel right in this day and time I’m in now. Like I belong somewhere else. Anyways! I’m on a tangent.

Ok so basically, you just described me down to a T! Although I wished to be born in 1944 or 1945. I also feel like I don’t belong in this time but somewhere in the past. Quite a strong feeling I might add and I’m glad I’m not the only one! Awesome! Also, fellow Canadian here! Near Toronto, Ontario is where I live!!!!

Ok so about me….

Hey there! My name is Addie and I am 19 years old and live near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. 😛 I love reading, writing, listening to music, watching tv and movies and also making movies. I am in college now, studying the Television Broadcast program. It’s extremely hard work but also very fun and I love it. Actually, my first video project was the biography of John Lennon where I got my friend to play John. It’s on youtube actually. But anyway…. me….

The easiest way to describe myself is that I live in the past. I grew up with my parents always listening to the oldies station and then my older sister listening to the oldies station. I always knew the old songs and the artists and always had a special place for me. My older brother can be blamed for my love of rock (Queen, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, etc). But even though I liked the music, I didn’t really listen to it too much, more like every once in a while. But that all changed a few years ago. I would say when I was around 17.

I began listening to the oldies more and more and began my slow descent into the past. Then during my first year in college, the Beatles just popped up and it seemed like everything exploded and landed into place. Since then, I’ve become such a Beatles head it isn’t funny. I actually can be deemed insane. 😛 The Beatles are just my life now and my room is practically Beatles central. I wouldn’t have it any other way though. I feel like I’ve found where I belong in a sense…. with my Beatles obsession (them being my fave band) and just all the past music. Does that make sense? And in saying that, I really do feel like I was born in the wrong time. But hey, what can you do right?

My family does like the Beatles but I am the one who is crazy-obsessed. And I love it!!!! 😀 I own literally a ton of Beatles stuff (posters, books, shirts, pictures, dvds, music, etc). The list is actually scary. 😛 Every occasion (birthday, Christmas) I aquire more Beatles things. Although the two things I want (Stereo Remasters and Rockband) I don’t have and will continue trying to get it!

Ahh… see what I mean? I love to write. 😛 I love being myself though and I’m happy I live in the past with my music and stuff. It makes me different and I like being different from everyone. I consider myself an Ol’ Rippie (Oldies Rocker-Hippie). Yes, I came up with that, don’t laugh. 😛

But anyway…. that’s me!!!! Addie the Beatles freak!!!!
