I don't have all that many CDs, but my dad is a computer wiz, so….I think you get it. I have several, but don't want to list it.
But right now, I am proud of my vinyl collection, since it is growing. I have Abbey Road , The Beatles (The White Album ), the American version of Rubber Soul , The Beatles Second Album, and With the Beatles. When I turn eighteen, my mother said she'd give me Let It Be , Sgt. Pepper 's, The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl, and The Beatles (The White Album ). But that's…exactly a week less than five years. All of them are originally from the years except for Abbey Road . Then I have Band On The Run , Imagine , All Things Must Pass (sides 3 and four), Godspell, and Double Fantasy . Don't get me started on my other stuff… I have books, posters, mugs, merchandise, Rockband things, clothes, hats (from a Ringo Starr Concert), programs (same as before), necklaces, movies, Trivial Pursuit, cards, blah blah blah.
You know, I, like, barely come on, but I love this place becuase I feel like I can talk about the Beatles without feeling like a (complete) loser.

This should make you both feel better: I’ve been obsessed since I was 9 (as I said already — I’m now 24) and I didn’t complete my album collection until this past summer. There were literally at least 100 Beatles songs I had never even heard until then! I KNOW!!! The only CDs I had growing up were Help !, A Hard Day’s Night and Sgt. Pepper ’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. When I think back on it now, I wonder how in the heck I made it more than a decade with only three albums. HOLY CRAP.
After years of asking for Beatles CDs every birthday and Christmas, I finally got Revolver and the red and blue compilations sometime in college, and Past Masters I & II this last Christmas. I bought all the others last summer and fall and have been extra-obsessed ever since. (Hence, my joining this forum sometime in November or December!)
SO, after my rambling, my point is not to try to one-up you guys. It’s just to let you know that I feel your pain!

The only reason why people said that vinyl was better because the music was better. But, when I listen to it, it sounds faster at first until I play my iPod and the vinyl at the same time. But I was listening to it, and they do sound different. Not better or worse… It's probably the fact that the disks are almost forty to fifty years old.

I must say that I am uber jealous of your vinyl collection. I only have two studios and one LP and not even a record player, but when I do start seriously collecting, I want to get the original UK pressings. If I start saving now, maybe in ten years I’ll be able to afford them all … Or at least one. 🙂
Also, my dad has a few of their albums that he said I can have when he dies. Don’t get me wrong, I love my dad, but when he told me that … a tiny piece of me was like, “How long do I have to wait?” I feel like I’m going to go to hell now for saying that … Applicable.

Yeah. I think they may be better because your not listening to the exact same thing each time like an mp3. You have pops and scratchs, skips and speed changes, and they're just plain classic.

Omg….that was the best thing ever.
Naw, don't worry, I get like that too. Despite my own religious beliefs, when my mom said that I can have the albums when she dies, or when I'm eighteen, I was like “But what will come faster?“
My vinyl collection is the best, I guess, since I've only been saving for a year, and I still have several hundred saved for my Liverpool trip in…five-eight years. So, I don't want to spend it on that, but if I ever come across an album, I will buy it. My British-yet-anti-Beatles drama and singing teacher hates the Beatles, but has the original Please Please Me record. She also knows Peter Asher, and Chris Carter…ugh.

OK just to let you know guys.
You're not losers for not having all the Beatles albums, or books, or posters, or being the only one among your friends who love the Beatles. If they call you losers, well they are the ones because they don't have the heart to truly enjoy what I think it's one of the most beautiful music in the world.
So, if you any of you call yourself a loser, I'm going to take one of your apples back. I mean it.
Unless you sing with John “I'm a looooser”

I don’t get how anyone can be anti-Beatles. Oh wait, yes I do, it’s because they have no soul! I keed, I keed … Kinda. Maybe they just had a bad experience or something. Yeah, we’ll go with that.

Well, we all call him JP, but I know so many people with that nickname.
And he's a “friend” (I don't really know my class that well, since I've only been with them for two years, and we're graduating, so I don't have much time left) and we were voted as most religious in our class together for the hall of fame, and have some things in common, but…ugh. He's a boy. A teenage boy. Very immature.

What a fantastic site! Can't believe I only just discovered it.
I was born in 1964, height of “Beatlemania” although grew up in 70s and 80s of course where the Beatles were sort of put aside for a bit.
Like many others I started listening again mid 90s and now mid 2000s. I'm particularly fascinated by John Lennon , and his death was and is an absoloute tragedy.
I was born and raised in the Midlands, went to university in the North of England and (to cut along story short) I now live in Italy.
Nice to be here. great smileys too!

O yeah, if you get a 9 or a 17 on the antispam math question, it’s lucky around here. I don’t actually know why though.
