Well obviously I soak up the Beatles 24/7 with obsession! I've played in Beatle bands (mainly as George) and would lvoe to make a living of tributing the greatest group to walk the planet.
Every word to every song known (as with most people here I'm sure), seen the films umpteen imes, you know the story!
greatest experience was going to see Paul McCartney live at the Isle of WightFestival 2010, waited 10 hours without food, drink or toilet breaks to remain at the front, just feet away, only time, I've ever been starstruck. Incredible

I just want to know if anyone saw a TV special on music during the 60's which had the Beatles rehearsing/recording Hey Jude ? It would show brief clips of the Beatles in the studio then cut back to Beethoven's Fifth with soldiers preparing for the cannon fire as the climax to Beethoven. It was basically a doco on music through the ages and Yehudi Menuhin was the narrator. I think it was called ONE or had one in the title. If anyone knows about this and can find a DVD of this show I would be most grateful.

Well, I’m gonna introduce myself then! 
My name is Christian (I’m not Christian 
) . I’m 18 years old since last Sunday, still at school, and I live in Germany, near the city of Stuttgart. My parents actually come from Spain.
I got interested in the Beatles around autumn of 2009, and have become, you can say, a decent Beatles Freak!
I’ve been visiting this website for some weeks (or months?) and I found it really interesting, and I was glad to see there are people who are just as obsessed with the Beatles as I am! Because in real life I don’t know any Beatles fan (except my father maybe, but you can’t really call him a fan), I felt kind of “lonely” as a Beatles fan and so I’ve joined this place, hoping to have some fun!

My brand of humor is straight-faced sarcasm with a dash of puns and a wink at the end. I tend to randomly shout out “(insert name here)! I LOVE YOU!” when (insert name here) does something awesome. Oh, it's always nice to know I made some kind of impression here. 🙂 Um, Zig, too, but I think on a different level.
And I *miss* A Fiendish Thingy, though maybe that has to do with the avatar she used that reminds me of a school photo. 🙂

Offline Hello grandfather! I am Nigel the good dog ( you can call me Nigel for short) and I am 13 years old. Yes I am a girl, I don't want people confused because of my name lol. Also, I always try to type to the best of my ability and I am one of those people who talks before they think, so if I say something OUTRAGEOUS, don't worry, it is normal :). I just cannot pick a favorite Beatle, I am not capable of doing it, AT ALL, and my favorite album changes from week to week. I am “rarely” made fun of for my Beatles obsession, but I have gotten the occasional,” What is wrong with you?” or the lovely,” Ohmigod Lady Gaga is so much better than those ugly weirdos!”, which makes me mad, but I get used to it. I have loved the Beatles ever since my friend (to which I am eternally grateful for doing this) showed me one of thier cartoon tv episodes, and it all started from there. I am really passionate about music (it is pretty much my life) and I love many other rock bands such as The Who, Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Queen, etc. Peace and Love!
P.S. Love this site!
