How’s it going??
I look forward to getting to know you all here! I am always on top of the Beatles news, and Pre-order every release ahead of time. First in line! I remember getting Yellow Submarine on blu-ray for my kids and the youngest would draw the art style since.
What is the best game to play? I am familiar with Baker’s Dozen, but want to expand!

@Ubexter, thanks for helping your kids get into the Beatles – gotta grow that next generation!
Join in all the games. Just beware of the Beatles Trivia – Even Easier game. We have a wild time in there. The only wrong answer is giving the correct answer (if a correct one exists).

Hi!
I’m a 16 years old kid from china that started listening to the beatles about two years ago and by now i’ve listened to almost every beatles songs, including remixes, anthology versions, outtakes, album deluxe version bonus tracks, bootlegs, demos, love album version song hybrids, etc.
I do tone recreation videos on a platform called bilibili, not very well known outside of china, but very recently i started recreating beatles tones, i’ve done let it be guitar solo (album version) and the whole 1966/1967 distorted guitar tone(revolver, sgt peppers).
I tried by best at school to spread the beauty of the creations by the fab four, and it seemed to work so far.
In china there’s really limited resources, for example, it’s hard to find any electric twelve strings here, good luck finding a rickenbacker.
For this reason I came here.

I asked my co-worker (who is on his early 70s) from China if he knew the Beatles. He said their most-known song in China when he was growing up until he left China in the late 1990s was Let it Be. Do you think that song is still their best-known one in China, @think for myself?

I always thought yesterday and Hey Jude are the most popular ones, i think let it be is only the third most popular one, and also a lot of the popular beatles songs outside of china are not that popular inside , for example Revolution , Eleanor Rigby , help, strawberry fields, edit: forgot to mention, the next popular song after let it be in china is Norwegian Wood .

My goodness, it’s been an awfully long time since I was here. I don’t know if anyone still remembers me, but I know that the last post I left in the forum was a pretty grim life update that might have left people worried. I think the last time I was active on here was nearly ten years ago now (wow!!). So, to anyone who might remember seeing me around at some point: Hello! It’s nice to be back! To anyone who never met me or doesn’t remember me: Here’s my introduction!
For reasons beyond my comprehension, I’m still Moriz! I prefer to keep my online life and my in-person life as separate as possible so using my real name to sign up on here was a terrible idea in hindsight, but what can you do? Can’t undo my younger self’s stupidity, hahahahaha. It’s fine, though. Out of all the social sites people from my real life could find me on, this is probably the one I’d prefer!
Anyway: I’m 26 years old now, which is a wild thought. I remember when I used to get teased for being the youngest member of the forum! I’m still in a rough situation and don’t know that I’ll ever get out of it, but I’ve decided to be done isolating myself and try branching out. A cosy little community like this seems the perfect place to get my social cogs oiled and turning again! I’ve been on a big Beatles kick recently (even bigger than my usual) and have turned one of my younger friends onto their music, which made me remember this forum and how small I was when I first joined. It’s been great to scroll back through old conversations and see a lot of the same people still around, even if some of my younger self’s behaviour does make me cringe. I’m happy to see that there’s quite a few new members too. I hope everyone is well!

I joined the Forum in 2013 so our time crossed briefly back then, @moriz. Glad I’m still here to get to know you this time around.
EDIT: I just saw in your profile that you joined the Forum 2 November 2016. So, we did cross paths back then.

This is the second version of this account, so even though it says I joined in January of 2017 I actually joined in December 2015. I was around and remember Moriz. A great photo to use for your avatar.

How do you do, @Taliajae !! Are you getting the US albums rerelease in November? Do you own the Christmas Records coloured Vinyl?
Welcome, and enjoy the games! I sometimes let my kids join me and guess the picture or add to Baker’s Dozen! (Ringo- the current round – is courtesy of my son!)
