Hi @TangerineTrees ! It’s always nice to meet a fellow Beatlemaniac teen from the US who always knew about the Beatles but didn’t become obsessed until a few years ago when they heard the Beatles Channel for the first time and then discovered the Beatles Bible on the hunt for information

Offline Hey everyone! Been posting a bit already without posting here, figured I’d post here.
I’m an Edmontonian living in Montreal right now (I don’t speak any French and somehow get by here just fine). I have Asperger’s, which has its ups and downs; it’s what’s attracted me to both music in general and the music of the Beatles. I found this forum just looking for a place to post about Beatles stuff!

Offline My goodness, @Ahhh Girl, I almost started crying (like the dork that I am). I love being here and y’all’ve been so nice and wholesome and welcoming. I couldn’t ask for a better community to be apart of! Thank you so much, and have an apple yourself .
I, myself, completely forgot that Tangerine and I have only been members for, like, two months.

We all have our special interests, music just happened to become my primary one! You just get absorbed in it and want to know as much as possible about it. It helped that my dad had pretty good tastes and I was exposed to a lot of good stuff growing up (Beatles, Zappa, Floyd, etc.)

Ahhh yes, my friend loves steam trains, (many long rail history rants have I patiently suffered ) and my dad played a lot of good Beatles and Floyd when I was little too

I’ve been a lurker on these forums for a while, and figured it was time to make and account introduce myself! I’m a 23 year old (she/hers) from the US, and have been a Beatles maniac most of my life- the love grew into an obsession around three years back when i decided to give Revolver a try while under some influence walking around NYC near my apt. Blew my mind, i “got” it, so to say. Reading Revolution In The Head was the nail in the coffin of my pre-beatles days. My favorite albums are Revolver +The White Album , and I’ll defend Giles Martins remixes to the death- though i do like The White Album in original mono. I’m a John fangirl, but Ringo was my favorite as a kid (as im sure he was for most of you!!)
The Beatles absolutely changed my life, and I will never shake my love for them. I’m the proud owner of the 2018 super deluxe White Album LP, and an avid Beatles bootleg and alternates collector (Has anyone heard the “A Dolls House” bootleg?)
I recently purchased the “Kum Back” bootleg, if theres any way to share some of the strange versions of let it be with you lovely people, I will!

Thank you so much! I definitely agree, it almost feels like I’ve been here for my entire life. I’ve found a second home here on the forum. Also, I can finally talk to people who actually care about the Beatles without being too annoying about it (I hope), this in itself is a blessing. Apples for everyone!
