@knowhereman your avatar slightly reminds me of Father McKenzie(’s last one) Good to see you around!
Rubber Soul is definitely one of my favorite albums. It’s honestly the first taste I got of the Beatles. In My Life was one of the first songs I heard.

@knowhereman heh I love your name. Welcome to the forum!
Thank you! Outside of being a Beatles fan, I’m also a huge sports and Marvel fan. My name is solely from a Marvel movie and kind of a play on words with Nowhere Man which just happens to be that one Beatles song that will never get old for me.

Sometimes when I think of these lines in You Never Give Me Your Money
But oh, that magic feeling, nowhere to go
Oh, that magic feeling
Nowhere to go, nowhere to go
I change the wording to “know where” to go as in I know where to go to get that magic feeling.
When I’ve been busy and finally get a break, I like the “nowhere to go” interpretation.
Is this an example of being able to have your cake and eat it too? The song can mean what I want it to mean as it suits my mood.

You Never Give Me Your Money , is probably one of my favorites off the Abbey Road album, definitely. That’s one thing I love about the Beatles songs. Like any great song they make songs that many people can relate to, and take it and put into a different perspective of life and take something out of it.

Hello! Thought I would introduce myself after lurking on this forum for a while and finally deciding to join!
I haven’t been a Beatles fan for very long, only since the start of the year. I’ve been having a pretty tough year for various reasons and for some reason listening to their music has been a real comfort to me the past few months. Now I’m officially obsessed!
I’m glad I’ve joined this forum as none of my family or friends are really into the Beatles and I think they’re getting bored of hearing me talk about them, so I hope I can do it here instead.

I can relate to you, @Loveliest Rita . During this busy year preparing for college entrance, I always listened to the Beatles and reached for courage. I’ve been through that, and I hope the same for you. Welcome to the forum, love to hear your Beatles talk!
