Hello folks, the name’s CakeMaestor. You can address me ask Cake if you’ll like. Since i am posting in this forum, it should come no surprise that I am new to this forum. I am certainly excited to talk further within this forum with my fellow Beatles fan. Thanks and good day.
P.s : I apologise if i sound unnatural and stiff, I am just as socially awkward online as I am in real life.
Edit: Please do let me know if you would like me to introduce myself further, I would be glad too.

Hello, @CakeMaestor, tell us about your Beatles obsession. It’s ok and safe to tell us. We are all obsessed with the Fab Four here.

Alright and thanks for the welcome:
I am a pretty “new” Beatles fan as far most as Beatlemaniacs (is that what they call them?) are concerned. I’ve only been a great fan since about less than a year ago, and during that period I was dabbling in some of the older music. I do remember the first time I realized that I was a Beatles fan when i replayed “I Am The Walrus ” in my bedroom whilst folding my clothes, and here I am now. I certainly have to credit the Beatles to not just introducing me to rock, but to other non-mainstream music such as jazz, blues and folk, as well as igniting a passion for music.
At the moment I am but a simple college student, and that’s about it. I am not to keen on sharing my personal information online, but I will say that I am all the way in the South-East Asian country of Malaysia. And i certainly have to say I am the only local Beatles fan that I know (but due to my social awkwardness that is not I like to publicly say). I do sincerely love my country, and the culture and food surrounding it.
As far as hobbies go, I like reading and simple sports. I also do enjoy taking care of my potted plants. Just of late, I bought a cheap guitar and starting to learn some chords and stuff.
Some Beatles stuff:
1) Favorite Beatle – Sir Richard Starkey (aka Sir Ringo Starr )
2) Favorite Album – Revolver
3) Favorite Period – The Acid Years (my referent to the psychedelic movement)
4) Favorite Beatles Songs (at the moment, by songwriter):
Lennon: “Happiness Is A Warm Gun ” / “I Am The Walrus ” (as mentioned earlier in my flashback)
McCartney: Pretty indecisive about it, at the moment “I’ve Just Seen A Face “
George Harrison : “Taxman ” / “Love You To “
Ringo Starr : “Octopuses Garden”
I must apologize if this is rather long-winded. Thanks for your welcome and I wish you all a good day (sunshine).

Welcome to the forum @CakeMaestor! Feel free to be yourself on this forum, we are all welcoming and supportive fellow Beatlemaniacs. Your intro post reminds me of my own, many years ago — I quickly grew less awkward and I’m sure you will too. I can’t wait to discuss Malaysia, Revolver , guitar chords, potted plants, and more.

I don’t know why you say “Goodbye.” I say “Hello.”
No but seriously, glad to be on the forum. I’m not one who makes a long introduction or so but…
I became a Beatles fan from my mom, when we listened to the Beatles Sirius XM station which was doing a countdown of the top 100 Beatles songs and me and my mom listened to song after song, and it didn’t stop. We were literally binge listening. I loved the music and I eventually became hooked on it. Realizing when I was younger I might not have been able to get into it as much, but now I love the band, and here I am.
Favorite Beatle: They’re all amazing although if there’s one I relate to more than anybody it’s probably John. Although I love Ringo and Paul just as much. George is underrated, like super underrated.
Favorite album: It changes really but honestly… Probably, Rubber Soul or Help . Somedays it might be Abbey Road .
Favorite song(s): You’re Going To Lose That Girl , Nowhere Man , And Your Bird Can Sing , ETC.
(You get the point.)
But if I had to pick each song separately by artist… That’s tough.
Top 5 favs for each:
John: You’re Going To Lose That Girl , Nowhere Man , In My Life , Girl, And Your Bird Can Sing
Paul: You Never Give Me Your Money , Penny Lane , Eleanor Rigby , Blackbird , For No One
George: While My Guitar Gently Weeps , Do You Want To Know A Secret , Here Comes The Sun , Something , I’m Happy Just To Dance With You
Ringo: Octopus’s Garden (Definite favorite from him), With A Little Help From My Friends , Good Night , Act Naturally , Yellow Submarine
There are really no Beatles songs I dislike/hate, just some of them I prefer over the other.
Once again glad to be here, it’s getting fairly late here so I should try to go to sleep.
Close your eyes and I’ll close mine
Good night sleep tight
Now the sun turns out his light
Good night sleep tight
Dream sweet dreams for me
Dream sweet dreams for you.Good night good night everybody
Everybody everywhere
Good night.
