I tell ya, for me John is the most fascinating human rubix cube. Like a puzzle I can never fully figure out. I just want to get inside his head and understand his thinking, but his mind changes so much. It’s incredible.

So uhm, hey I’m Capri (based on my zodiac sign the capricorn), I’m 20 years old and I live in Denmark. I have liked the Beatles since I was 10-11, but didn’t become really active in the fandom until late 18′. When it comes to their post-breakup solo discography I’m still not 100% familiar, but I know most of their famous solo work.
I was a child back then, so I chose Ringo as my favorite because I found his stage name silly. But now as I’m older it’s because I see him as a reminder that you always belong somewhere, even if you’re imperfect. Of course I love the other members too and pay equal attention to them?
I hope one day in the nearest future I will be able to atleast attend either Paul’s or Ringo’s concert while they are still here.
I listen to a lot of different artists, but Queen is the second only artist I’m really into.

Greetings, @Capri. I’m glad you found the forum and joined us.
I hope for all our sakes that ticket sales for McCartney concerts get under control. Unscrupulous people/companies buying up large quantities and then jacking up the prices is a crying shame. I want you to get to go to both Macca and Ringo concerts. They both bring joy to the hearts of Beatles fans.

I’ve lived in youtube comment sections too long is the thing D=
Haha yeah, those YT comments sections can really sour you on humanity if you let it! (I myself have made a point of praising Yoko in comment everytime I watch a video in which she figures…)
Anyways, welcome to the forum! And that goes out to all of you in the new crop that Pepdog singled out…

Welcome aboard, @Capri! Cool username I’ve noticed a disproportionately large number of my favourite/classic rock musicians are Capricorns* — you share your sign with some illustrious folks! I’ve also been getting into Queen a little bit lately, they’re quite good.
*Off the top of my head: Elvis Presley, David Bowie, Syd Barrett [Pink Floyd], Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones [Led Zeppelin], and Jeff Lynne [Electric Light Orchestra]

I am a new member of The Beatles Bible. I was a close friend of the late John Lennon during the 12 years of schooling we shared in Liverpool and beyond until we both left Liverpool at the age of 22 to follow our career paths. I was born 10 days before John and we met at the age of 5 at Dovedale Road County Primary School which we attended, in the same class, for 7 years. We went on together to Quarry bank High School for Boys for another 5 years. We were especially close friends in our mid-teens and it was at my house that John had most of his early exposure to pop music and especially to rock’n’ roll. I had the records whereas he didn’t even have a record player at his home. He gave me the credit for his decision at the age of 15 to become a musician after he experienced a life-changing pivotal moment at my house during one school lunch break. I put all my precious memories of John in my highly acclaimed book ‘John Lennon ; The Boy Who Became A Legend’. Details from the website johnlennonlegend.com from where a copy can be ordered. The book is only sold on line. Oh and all references in The Beatles Bible to The Quarrymen are wrong. John’s group was The Quarry Men as printed on their business cards, drum kit and the plaque on the wall of St Peter’s Church in Woolton commemorating the historic first meeting there in 1957 of Lennon and McCartney. But there were sometimes mis-spellings as The Quarrymen in concert ads probably placed over the phone. The group reformed by Rod Davis in 1997 on the 40th anniversary of the first Quarry Men concert in July 1957 was called The Quarrymen.
