Offline …Hi! Just stumbled across this forum on my quest for Beatles goodness, and thought it seemed like a pretty nice community.
I'm a 16-year-old from Vancouver Island, Canada, and I've been raised on the Fab Four since I was in a crib.
I've always had a soft spot for George Harrison , and he remains the role model for my life.
I'm a tried and true cat lover, which sort of conflicts with my hobby of collecting vintage vinyl, what with the fur getting stuck in the record grooves and all.
I hope to have a great time here on these forums.

Offline Canucks uinite! Hey, I'm new too, from near Calgary. Skiing is my life, along with guitar and music. I have a Fender Strat that is my baby.
My favourite artists at the moment are The Beatles (of course), The Rolling Stones, Jack Johnson, Chuck Berry, Coldplay, I guess U2 as well. My number one hero is Paul McCartney , and I had the good fortune of seeing him in concert in the US this summer. I am also going to be an astronaut and a rock star. I may sound like a 5 year-old in that sense but I'm actually 16 years old.
I have a dog, a cat and some horses. There's me in a nice little paragraph. I guess it's a paragraph plus a couple lines. So I hope you don't say goodbye, and I say hello.

Oh, a question: In the past I've dated guys who wern't Beatles fans (maybe very tangentially, but not solid fans.) Those relationships never went well, I'm thinking it's because we didn't share this essential ideology. Do you think it would be snobbish to really just want to date someone who really likes the Beatles? It wouldn't be the only reason to date someone, but it feels as important as so many other defining things (for instance, there's a guy who's interested in me who isn't really aware of who John Lennon is/was. That feels like a pretty big thing since the Beatles have been a huge presence in all ways of my life, since I was very tiny.)

But last year I hit the jackpot. I found a guy who is interested in all the same things as me, he's two years older than me, he loves the Beatles, a very talented person, the nicest guy, he's from London, and HE LOOKS LIKE JOHN LENNON.
SWEET LORETTA MARTIN. he had to go off to university in the fall though while I'm stuck here.
I can't believe I had to let that go…

Offline I suppose I should introduce myself! I’m SomewhereMan (I can’t believe that wasn’t taken). I’m 16, and live just outside of Columbus, Ohio. My first Beatles song was “Yellow Submarine “, as ar as I can recall, and I was vaguely aware of big hits like “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds ” and “Hey Jude “. I didn’t really get into the Beatles until last year, when I was reintroduced to them by one of my Internet friends. I followed the link to this site from the bottom of a Wiki page, and… here I am!
