Welcome @To Jorma, hope you’ll enjoy your time here.
@50yearslate, you should get Audacity, the best free music editing software out there, and has the function to play things backwards.

Lol, not sure what I’d use it for but thanks for the recommendation all the same.
Love one another.

One thing I use it for a lot, @50yearslate, is to record audio I can’t download so that I can listen to it offline.

Hi everybody!!
I’m Mithveaen, not my real name, but alas, it’s my online name. I’m from Mexico and I joined this forum few days before seeing Paul McCartney live in that glorious May 28th 2010. You can see me in this video. (I’m not the one with the cellphone though).
I had to leave this forum because I started my Master’s degree, and a little later, I applied for a permanent position in a school as a teacher of English as a Second Language. Fortunately, after two long years, I got the job. I studied a course to take a certificate as ESL teacher and after a loooong year my tutors approved all my papers and now I am just waiting for my diploma this year. And I almost lost my Dad more than a year ago but he’s with me and getting better and stronger every day.
For the people who don’t know me, well, I love classical music, my favorite Beatle is George, I like to do yoga and exercise in general, I love British TV and now I’m flipping about ITV’s Endeavour. I also love to read.. Jane Austen and Lord of the Rings are my favorite ones.

Hello @mithveaen, pleased to meet the person I bumped off the top posters leaderboard! (I believe I joined after you started your hiatus, so you don’t know me either!)
Best wishes to your dad.
Glad to see a forum legend return, and glad to hear everything is going in the right direction for you!

Seconding this, I’ve been using it for a few years to record basic tracks. It’s got some ok plugins but lately my favourite Linux ones no longer work, so if I want to get fancy I still have to drag them into something else for post-processing. But for all that, it’s excellent on any platform and once you get used to it, it’s pretty intuitive to use. It’s going to be difficult to learn a DAW after that!
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

I should hope not — I’ve driven through it so I know it’s a big state, but…

Hi, Glad to be here among fellow Beatle fans. My given name’s Ken, I’m in my 60’s and live in western Canada. I started playing guitar when I was 13 and Beatle tunes were the ones I most wanted to learn. I build all my own guitars now, but the one off-the-rack guitar I always wanted, and now own, is a Hofner violin bass.
When I first joined this site, I pulled out all my LP’s and discovered that almost everything I own is older LP’s, plus a few compilations. I’ve certainly heard their newer stuff and played it in bands, but I found myself having to Google a lot of the newer songs because I hadn’t heard them or couldn’t connect the titles and the tunes. Being on this site has me wanting to beef up my music collection…..As a matter of fact, I just ordered a copy of Let It Be …Naked. I’m an avid reader too, so I’m looking for some Beatle-related books to read. I think one of my first acquisitions will be the Geoff Emerick book “Here, There, and Everywhere”.
Since I retired, I spend hours each day on the computer – Most of it has been in the guitar discussion forums, but I find that I’m starting to spend a lot of my time here, since I discovered this forum. I’ve also been spreading the word about The Beatles Bible, so hopefully some of my online musician friends will join us here. Thanks, Joe, for creating such an enjoyable place for Beatle fans to get together.

Bass is the coolest instrument, and it was Beatles bass that made me aware of bass’s existence and coolness! Good to have you aboard, @Beatlebass.
