Hi, I'm Belladonna Jade Nightshade,
I was born July 20th, in the year of Paul McCartney 's knighting, 1997, in Tucson, Arizona and I have loved the Beatles for a very long time. When I was five, for the first time, I watched A Hard Day's Night, but it scared me when John dissapeared in the tub, and my Aunt Stacy paused it for a laugh and said that was the end of the movie, and John was never seen again. (FYI: I screamed after she told me that, and I never took a bath until I was 7 after I FINALLY watched the rest of the movie. She still hasn't apologized yet.) Entering into school, at a Kinder-8th grade, I bonded with the teachers, and NOT my classmates. I was an outcast because I LOVED music from the fifties, sixties, seventies, and eighties, (and still do) and could tell you the title, artist, and occasionally the release year of that song. (weird, huh) Teased my whole life until I moved this last August, I turned to music, meditation and Beatles reasearch. I'm still learning, since I have been a big believer in this site ( “groan”) and have read the comments on the forum. BOTTOM LINE: I love it here. Everyone seems so nice.
Some of the Best Simpson's Beatles related comments:(in chroological order)
- Bart: 'Hey, who's the Mop-Top with the big Schnozz?!' __________________________________________________________________
- Homer: "Then came the greatest moment of my life"
George: "Hello Homer, I'm George Harrison"
Homer: "Oh my God! Where did you get that Brownie?!" ___________________________________________________________________________ - Bart: "What did you do, screw up like the Beatles and say you were bigger than Jesus?"
Homer: "All the time. It was the title of our second album!" ___________________________________________________________________________ - Deprogrammer: "My greatest achievement was getting Paul McCartney out of Wings."
Homer: "You idiot! He was the most talented one!" ___________________________________________________________________________ - Paul and Linda McCartney guest star ('I read about you in history class!') ___________________________________________________________________________
- A mop falls on Lisa's head. Wiggum sees her and says "Yeah, right, mop top, and I'm Ed Sullivan." ___________________________________________________________________
- Springfield promotes itself as "birthplace of the Beatles". ___________________________________________________________________________
- In England, Homer says "our Beatles are better than your Rolling Stones".

Hello, I'm Cranberry Sauce. I'm a recent fourteen-year-old who stumbled upon Beatles music (real music!) for the first time while putting together a report on Archimeded. Eureka, indeed!
Ever since figuring out that rock 'n roll was more than “Heartbreak Hotel” (umm….sorry, Elvis), I have made it my mission to go out and “discover” all the great rockers from the 60s, 70s and 80s. So it was really John, Paul, George and Ringo who got me started on filling up my iTunes library (thanks, guys).
Oddly enough, I seem to enjoy the songs that many hate (if it's possible to 'hate' a Beatles song), such as “Maxwell's Silver Hammer” and “Octopus's Garden”. Maybe I'm weird, or maybe I have the capability to appreciate these overlooked gems…
I'm rather odd, a teensy bit rebellious and constantly spontaneous (hehe). I hope that by joining this forum, I can share my piece (and gain some peace?) of mind, however odd it may be.
You all seem like a colorful cast of characters, and I can't wait to discuss all things Beatles!

I'm Kelly, or kelicopter. 🙂 I'm sixteen from England.
I sort of stumbled on The Beatles accidentally. My parents had the number 1 album, and I found it one day when I was about six or seven, played it and fell in love with it. The next christmas I was given Sgt Peppers and it sort of grew from there.
The Beatles to me are sort of a release. No matter how bad a day I've had, I know I can come home and listen to them and not have to worry about anything for a while. I love music, but The Beatles are the only band who do that for me.
I've only just joined this, purely because my friends and family get bored of me talking about them so often, so I thought I might start talking to people who are just as into them as me. 🙂
There is more to me than just The Beatles! But rather than me writing my life story, hopefully I'll get speak to you all soon and maybe get to know everyone a bit better. 🙂 xox.
I think it's great you're going through a phase,
and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

That's the formula that has worked for me so far – you should fit right in!

My sentiments exactly. I could not have put it any better.

Hi, kelicopter! Love the avatar.

Wait , what were we talking about? Shea Stadium?
Here's an apple. We give each other apples when we think something is funny or cool. We also give George Martin heads and Mal Evans heads. I'm not sure who has the most apples, but I think Zig has something like three hundred George Martin heads. (see the “Run For Your Life ” thread.) Zig is a really big fan of Mal Evans. And mithveaen loves George.
I think that's all you need to know about the way things work on this forum.
If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.
