@Father McKenzie That’s a tricky question indeed
I can’t pick one but some of my top songs are:
You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away
Tricky see?!
As for album I couldn’t choose a definitive favourite. Can I cheat and say I used to really enjoy listening to the Anthologies? I used to enjoy listening to rough cuts and hearing the journey to completion with songs. I’m a relative young pup in the Beatles fandom at 37 years old. I went through a huge obsessive phase back in the 90s in my teens. I was obsessed with John Lennon .
I only recently started thinking about The Beatles again really and have been scouring around the internet feeding my habit. My husband really doesn’t like The Beatles so it is my own little private hobby again for now!

@merrymunky: Some great tracks there! Some of my favourites include:
Girl
I also love lesser talked about tracks like I’ll Get You , Don’t Bother Me , Please Mr Postman……
PS I’m even younger than you (I’m 32). I love that the Beatles attract fans of all ages. Hope you can convince your husband to become a fan too . Enjoy the forum

Believe me that will never happen. We are both huge music lovers…we actually bonded over our love of music (realising when we met that we had unofficially met on the NME chat rooms years before!) He finds The Beatles leave him cold. He thinks they are overrated etc! He has great taste in music but these boys slipped through the net sadly! He listens to anything from Captain Beefheart through to death metal! I fall somewhere on the middle with rock/metal/punk/indie/alternative etc

@merrymunky: I have quite varied taste in music myself,but most of the stuff I like is from before I was born.The Beatles are definitely my favourites though, and members of my family think the same as your husband (Beatles are overrated etc). At least you’ve found the forum to get your Beatle fix

Okay so my name is Chloe and I have been an avid fan since I was very little. I am 16, a junior in high school, living and loving life. George Harrison is my favorite Beatle and I don’t necessarily know why, I just really have been drawn to him for the longest amount of time. My favorite Beatles album is Rubber Soul , but my favorite post-Beatles album is Ram .
One day I suddenly just got super into them and it has expanded since them, being simply fascinated by what they did in their careers. Eventually, they inspired me to go out and do my own thing and develop my own musicianship. It really helped that their backgrounds were something I could easily relate to in my life.
Anyways, that’s me.
