Hi my name is Franco. I live in Whitby, Ontario, Canada. I have loved the Beatles since I was young (remember hearing them on the radio in my father’s 1960 Strato Chief). My favourite Beatle was first Paul, then John, but nowadays I think they are all great especially John for his lyrical and musical genius, Paul for his music and George for his steadiness and his late musical prowess, and Ringo for his down to earthness and charm and the steady chops. I am nostalgic for the early days but love 1967-68 scene also. I am hear to share some thoughts, experiences and perspectives with ours. I am also honoured to be here.

Greetings Fellow Beatlemaniacs! I’ve been reading this site off and on for some time and decided to register tonight. My love for the Beatles began some 50+ years ago as a grade-schooler when my parents bought the “Beatles ’65” Capitol compilation album for my 3 younger brothers and I. We played that album ’til the grooves ran smooth and “all those years ago” turned into maybe the longest “love affair” of my life (aside from my family.) Every album, cassette, CD, movie, most of the books, scads of memorabilia rare and common (including a signed “Abbey Road ” album by Paul and Ringo). On my 1st visit to England in 2009, I took the train from Euston Station in London (where the Fabs and wives departed in August ’67 to attend the Maharishi’s lecture in Bangor, Wales) to Liverpool to take the Beatle tour of each of their childhood homes, the Beatles museum and ending at the renewed Cavern Club (sadly, not the original which was torn down but built opened nearby). My wife and I made 6 other trips to London since then and I’ve managed to see most, if not all, of the major Beatle sites including swinging by Paul’s London home on Cavenish Avenue near Abbey Road studio on multiple occasions. Anyway, hope this introductory post was not too verbose. I’m looking forward to commemorating (and sometimes, commiserating, such as today, marking the 16th anniversary of George’s passing) with our fellow travelers in Beatle Land.

Hey, Jude!
Okay, yeah, sorry, I’ll never say something that terrible again, lol…
I go by Noizi, I’m an Atlanta native looking to be a native of ANYWHERE else as soon as possible (and no, it’s not because of Trump, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that helps lol)
The Beatles aren’t my *favourite* band but man they’re GREAT, they don’t make music like they used to, lol. Hope to get to know y’all soon.

Hello! I’m Misty and I play guitar.
I love music. It’s the gearest thing ever. I also say gear a lot. It’s like cool but cooler. I write comedy screenplays about hippies, cats, and potatoes. I also write Warriors fanfics and a Beatley fanfic called George Doesn’t Matter. They are all reasonably hilarious (I hope)
I first got into music with Johnny Cash, and that used to be all I listened to, I’m not kidding I would refuse to listen to ANYTHING else, until I discovered the British Invasion with the Zombies, and then found the holy grail, AKA The Beatles. I fist listened to I Want To Hold Your Hand , fell in love, then it became the obsession it is today. Ringo is my favourite, he is the cutest thing ever, and Revolver is my favourite album.
One last thing, I am very hippie. I like peace and love and also pizza love.
I’m so glad I finally found other maniacs to obsess with, have a wonderful day. Peace.

TheWalrusWasBrianI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.
