Howdy folks,
I’m Pineapple Fields. I’m a Texan, trumpet player and Beatles enthusiast. I actually got into the lads in an endeavor to impress a girl I liked who I thought knew everything about them. So, naturally, I started listening to the classics, you know the Hey Judes, the Yesterdays of the catalog… it ended up not working out with her (still great friends though) and I’m over here studying and listening to the Beatles constantly. Drives my family crazy, but they just haven’t come around yet. I know a LOT about them and almost every song they put out, but I know many people here know much more so please never hesitate to correct something wrong I say.
I guess I should give my top 10:
2. In My Life
3. Here, There, and Everywhere
5. Hey Jude
6. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
10. Something
Just below that is Tomorrow Never Knows , along with Within You Without You , Dear Prudence , Got To Get You Into My Life , and I’ve Just Seen A Face .
Sorry, this went on way longer than I thought- I’m happy to be here and to meet all of you. Thanks!

Howdy, Pineapple Fields, from a neighbor north of the Red River. At least now you have an outlet for your inner Beatlemaniac. Glad you are still friends with the girl.

Welcome @Pineapple Fields! Hope you have a great stay here!
It’s awesome to see how high you’ve ranked Dear Prudence , Within You Without You and I’ve Just Seen A Face , by the way!
Not once does the diversity seem forced -- the genius of the record is how the vaudevillian "When I'm 64" seems like a logical extension of "Within You Without You" and how it provides a gateway to the chiming guitars of "Lovely Rita. - Stephen T. Erlewine on Sgt Pepper's

I've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

Hello, my name is Mark. I live in Commerce City, Colorado, USA. Commerce City is a suburb of Denver. I am married to my wonderful wife, of 4 yeaars. I am 40 years old and currently a returning student in college. I am currently in the community college level in hopes of receiving my Associate of Arts. From there I hope to transfer to a four year school to earn my Bachelor’s in Journalism.
My dad got me into the Beatles music when I was 6. My dad was more of a fan of the early Beatles. I remember he had the album “Meet the Beatles,” and when he played it I would dance around to the music. In 1995 after I saw the Beatles Anthology on television I became obsessed and got all their cd’s, which I replaced with the remasters in 2009. I own Beatle vinyl, perhaps the record I most proud of is a Japanese replica of the “Yesterday and Today” butcher cover. I own the Beatles Anthology dvd set, “A Hard Day’s Night ” dvd and “Help !” dvd. I have not replaced then with blu ray yet, and I do not think I am doing it. My favorite Beatle is Paul, which I had the pleasure to see in concert during the “Back In the USA” tour in 2002 at the Pepsi Center in Denver; it is still by far, the best concert I seen. Beatle tribute band “Rain .” It was an awesome show. This past March my wife and I saw the My favorite album is “Revolver ” My top 5 favorite songs are:
5. “Fixing A Hole “
4. “She’s Leaving Home “
3. “Eleanor Rigby “
2. “Strawberry Fields Forever “
1. “I Am The Walrus “
I look forward in getting active on this website and meeting other Beatle fans.
